For those of you with smartphones (iPhones, Galaxies, etc.), where do you put them in your car? Do you have a mount that suctions on the windshield, or a mount on a vent, or does it just sit on a car seat, or --- ? I'm curious because I'm trying to figure out something to do with my Galaxy. My windshield has a very acute angle and I don't think a windshield mount will work for me. The air-vent mount I tried was a disaster. I already use the cupholders for cups. I can't suction it to the dashboard front because there are no clear places to do it; can't do it to the top because I've got a dash carpet. Damn modern cars. [Link] |

| Harri Patel Senior Member #SDNY he's all yours. -- Michael Steele 5110 Posts 3/03 | I bought the first one on this list. It kind of worked, but it sagged a little and it never seemed to get definitively tight in the CD player slot no matter how tight I turned the screw. Plus it blocked other stuff on the dash. I considered #5 on the list also, but between what it cost and the fact that you have to cram parts of it in between parts of the dashboard, I didn't get it. At one point I bought one of the ones that clips onto the vanes of one of your dash vents. It kind of worked briefly, but the plastic clips got fatigued quickly and wouldn't hang on anymore.
