Awhile ago I remember hearing that Smash Pictures would be the North American distributor for IFG films.

As I mentioned in an earlier thread,I was looking forward to this as I have wanted to see all the IFG films with Tavalia Griffin, and they were previously only available in PAL format.

I did see Hot Rats in my local store, and one other title(with Ms.Griffin)on the cover at another store, but I haven't seen too many of the IFG titles popping up on my store shelves.

So the question to Stuart or others-in-the-know would be,how many IFG titles are we going to see in the next year, and will they be the older ones?

I can't help being obsessed,blame Tavalia.

To answer your question, we did distribute at least a dozen of their films here in the states. Since then we stopped due to the new 2257 laws, studios have to protect themselves in having their records in order and it was difficult in working with a European studio. On top of that only one in every three releases we were getting were new vs. being 5 years old and new to the states. My customers weren't to keen on this and we've since departed from IFG. If your that much of an IFG fan then you can find it through Juicy Dist. or the catalog IFG is still being released under Damaged Pictures.

I hope that answers your question.

Take Care,

Stuart

Thanks you ~Stuart~. I was wondering that myself. I watched a film titled 'Lucha Con El Diablo' in Spanish translating into 'Wrestle With The Devil' in English that was an IFG produced film distributed by Smash Pictures and I couldn't find it on either website.
It had Jane Darling, Monica Sweetheart, Lea De Mae (which made me wonder how old this scene was), Silvia Lancome, and Carmen, a line-up of 5 hot ladies.
I hope IFG launches their own distribution company here. I know they have a presence south of the border.

Wrestle With The Devil is called 616 DF on the IFG website. It's one of my faves.

Damn. IFG does some top notch stuff, and it's sad that a top notch US distributor isn't in on the action anymore. What's the deal with Damaged, as a company? I normally order from adultdvdnow.com and the odd Damaged film shows up, but they're never listed in the 'studios' department. Ditto adultdvdtoday.com. I see TOXIC is still for sale at adult video universe and Bargain Adult DVD, but not really anywhere else. Also, can't find anything on Juicy's role in distributing IFG movies.

Anyone aware of a net retailer other than Orgazmik still selling IFG's movies? I only have WRESTLE WITH THE DEVIL and HOT RATS but the rest looks fabulous.

BuyEuroPorn.com sells the odd IFG title. If you see another title on IFG's site you can write Dmitry and ask if he can get if for you. I'm not sure how much of IFG's catalog is on DVD, though.
