Now, with the surge of truly attractive women entering the adult film industry every day, a new actress wanting to make a name for herself has to go to extreme measures just to distinguish herself from the pack. Unfortunately, many of the "new breed of pretty porn actresses" find themselves in a catch 22 situation. The money is there if they are willing to do what it takes. On the other hand, the medical bill payments and cost for recreational drugs (so they can tolerate the extreme acts required of them) diminish their earnings. After a few years of their young tender bodies being ravaged by all the brutal anal, STD's and drug abuse, they are forced to leave the industry no better off financially than if they had been waiting tables all that time. Twenty years or more ago, when well-paying manufacturing ("blue collar") jobs were plentiful, a recent high school graduate could get a good job making a decent middle class wage working at a factory or for one of the parts, service or materials suppliers for a factory. During those times, an attractive woman could achieve a middle class lifestyle by securing employment herself or by marrying a man with such employment. Now, most of those jobs are gone and have been replaced by lower paying menial and service type jobs. The infusion of increasingly higher numbers of prettier women in porn directly correlates with the decreasing number of manufacturing jobs in our economy. What's a girl to do? [Link] |

Anyway, for some, maybe a lot, of these women, their "exceptional beauty" is a product of makeup, lighting and flattering camera angles. Many of them are unrecognizable once the makeup is scraped off. There are a few threads on this and other forums showing the differences between pre and post makeup for some porn actresses.
