A while back I asked if anyone knew of any vhs or dvd titles that had the men of straight porn solo - other than Straight to Bed.... I found a whole bunch of solo men titles all on vhs - some with the men of straight porn, some not. I ordered 5 tapes, including Straight to Bed. I was only shocked by one of the titles... All of the "interviews" take place in a very plain white room with a mirror, a weight bench & a workout mat. Each guy is told to take off his clothes and is asked questions by a guy off camera. A really neat premise. You actually get to learn a lot about the guys. They all work out a bit at the direction for the off camera voice. Each guy finding the workout arousing, then jerks off. The first is Vinnie Marino. He seems to be relatively new to the business from the interview and his "style". He's given a lot of stage direction, which is extremely erotic. He's got a great body, which is a little too pumped up for me... and a decent size cock and pop shot. Next is Peter North. The first reason I ordered this tape. His interview was good and performance was great. He was 27 at the time this was filmed. He hits himself in the face with his pop. Very impressive... even for him. Next - Rod Garretto. Someone I'd never seen before. He looked like Freddie Mercury to me. Very new to the business, he said that he'd only done one movie. This was an ackward scene, but still okay. Next - Francois Pappilion. The second reason I bought this tape. I liked him from one of my first porn tapes - 1001 Erotic Nights. He's a lot more pumped up in this scene. I still thought he was attractive, just not as much as I used to. I really enjoyed his interview. His jack off scene was very disappointing though. Last is David Burrill. I'd never seen him before either, but from the way his interview sounded, he was a huge star. He had just finished his 21st magazine cover. He was the most animated in his scene... the most "polished". No pun intended. I enjoyed it, but it was really geared toward a male audience.For a tape that was made for guys, I assume... I was surprised that they all talked about their girlfriends in their interviews. All in all, I thought this tape was great. I would like to have it on DVD. It has all of the elements that I would like to have in a mainstream porn - like stage direction, and personal interviews. This would also make a great "bonus" type thing on a DVD. Say do a solo scene and interview with the main stars of the movie in this format for a "bonus". Just a thought.
