LOL..I know what you mean! But this is where you have to realize who you like and stick with them. Though this doesn't work 100% it does help a lot.
As for the Bikini thing, there are a lot of bikini films but they are just not done in the Gonzo world. A lot of Jim Holiday's stuff has bikini's along with a lot of the stuff done in the early-mid 90's. I agree there should be more use of these wonderful contraptions!

Slider mentions an important point I forgot to make: the "natural bush" or unshaven groin.Trimming is always in order but a completely shaven groin is not attractive.

IMNSHAO not only most porn stinks. Most action movies stink. Most arthouse movies stink. Most drama/romance movies stink. Most horror movies stink. Movies in general stink very often.
Problem: high noise-to-signal ratio
Solution: Do a little research - talk to friends, search the net, etc. - to find markers for your preference which are easy to detect, e.g. directors, studios, labels. Look on the quality of the photographs, design and texting on the box-cover; especially for porn movies: Does the writer of the texts on the box-cover suffer from tourette-syndrom?
Problem: My sources do carry so much rubbish.
Remember, vote with your wallet.
Solution: Ask your sources to carry more stuff you like. If this is not possible, look for other sources. There are plenty of webstores, video rental stores, etc.
Problem: God forbid, I can't find a DVD/movie on this particular theme, I'm interested in.
Solution: There are also other media around. Eye orientated people may watch photograph-books/magazines or even read comics. And some people are actually reading books - even nowadays. Visit your comic- or bookstore! You do not have to shove your money into the throat of movie producers, if they don't produce what is fitting your taste. Other media exist. Vote with your wallet!

Ah, the eternal struggle between differentiation and standardization. Give us more of the same, only better (and thus different, but not too much different).
I am a movie/porn aficionado and usually when I rent (I never buy) a DVD, I know exactly what I am going to get. And that bothers me, especially since I tend to stay away from reviews.
