I assume the mods might have an issue with this and might try to delete the topic, as the topic discusses something very negative about certain porn stars. However, I feel it's very important to discuss and spread awareness, so others don't get scammed by it. More and more porn girls these days on twitter, are advertising webcam shows on Skype, or custom videos, and in return.....as for pre paid gift cards on Amazon etc. and they ask for it in advance.
I myself experienced that first hand, by Maddy O'Reilly. She scammed me through amazon gift card for $300, almost 3 months ago. She repeatedly promised everything I asked, while taking the money. Once she'd received it, she started delaying it, not replying for days, multiple times she gave a time and never showed up without notice. Then, when asked for my money back, she went silent...no reply anywhere. Then, when I finally posted about what she had done on her twitter, banned me on her twitter account. I have all her messages, emails as proof, so if the mods are contacted with incorrect information by her or her sympathizers, I can provide you with that. This isn't intended to defame her, but to sincerely protect an average fan and his hard earned money....who may not make as much as I do, and his 300 or 500 down the drain, hurt him way more then did me. Still no money back, no contact from her about paying back.
I've heard similar stories with several people, and I am sure there are many. That's why I feel this is an extremely important topic to discuss, so innocent fans don't get scammed out of their hard earned money anymore. The industry repeatedly talks about how not many people are spending money to buy porn anymore, well, knowing and condoning such behavior of certain girls certainly doesn't help the cause. It would turn one away from porn after such experiences, and get their fix elsewhere or download it for free no longer caring for people making porn.
Although, it is very important to say that I have been buying skype type pvt shows or custom videos for years, by very well known and big named porn stars even...and never had this happen, before Maddy. But with this new breed of young girls entering the industry, who feel entitled to your money and interest....I feel it's high time we discuss this here. I would say best solution is not to pay in advance.
Ironically, I've never experienced this with any amateur cam girl ever, who one assumes, run more scams then porn stars...who used to care about their reputations and fan bases. Veterans still do, the issue is with mostly this new breed of girls in the business who think they're the best thing since sliced bread and I blame people around them blowing smoke up their asses too, which makes them feel they can treat fans like dirt and they'll still be worshiped like a Goddess they think they are.
I know I am not getting that money back, and frankly I don't care anymore, as at least I didn't deal with such an individual for to long and found out about what kind of person she is before wasting a lot more money. I just hope other fans don't end up with the same fate. Important to note, that I really don't think every girl in porn who advertises this online is running scams. There are very classy girls like Kimberly Kane or Dani Daniels among others, who very actively have been doing this for a while now very professionally, and there's never been any incident of a fan being scammed by them.
So at the end, I would say that do still consider these options as speaking from personal experience of years, they can be pretty damn amazing with stars doing things you normally don't see them do in movies and pushing themselves, just need to protect yourselves now and not trust blindly anymore. Solution? I would say, don't pay in advance. Ask for a date, and a time if it's a skype show. When they are online and ready for you, send the payment and they begin the show once confirmation is received. That's how it's been done with amateur cam girls for years with success, so should be the case here too. Same with custom videos, once it's been made, send the money and receive it. That is the safest way to go about it.
Again, I hope the mods don't panic and try to delete this topic fearing another porn star not posting on this forum anymore as they have often before. Please consider the fact that such things effect the very foundation of the porn industry stands on, and that is Fans' Money. Without that, this industry can not survive. I have thought long and hard about it, before posting it here, and I truly feel this should be discussed. I know porn stars who actually support me discussing this openly as I talk to a few of them on a personal level.
