Something Weird Video has some great, rare classic porn films available in such series as Frank Henenlotter's Sexy Shocker Triple XXX Hardcore Horrors and Bucky Beaver's Dragon Art Theatre Triple XXX Double Features and they even have great collections of 70's Triple XXX Movie House Trailers (at least ten such volumes) but they are only available on VHS. Recently they've been putting some of there non-hardcore films onto DVD and I was wondering if anyone knows if they have plans to do this with any of their XXX stuff. If so, I'd really like to get my hands on them. Thanks for any info.

I'm a big fan of Something Wierd's releases! But, I have no idea about whether or not they're thinking of releasing stuff like the "Bucky Beaver" series of 70s porn trailers. Here's their website...maybe we should start pestering them:

I love their trailer comp tapes - just never thought to ask them about if they'll ever be on DVD.

SwashBuckler - I took your advice & I sent an E-mail to the address listed on their site. I asked about the possibility of releasing the hardcore films on DVD. They replied:
That's great news. I just hope that "some point" is sooner and not later!

I want to encourage anyone who's interested to E-Mail them. The more interest they see there is for them, the faster they'll get them out! Here the address:

Just tell them you want to see them release the Bucky Beaver stuff on DVD soon!

I bought 2 of their Drive-in Double Feature discs and they were great; they've got tons of drive-in theater intermission trailers. I picked up 2 newer ones though and they had a goddamned "SWV" logo onscreen during ALL the trailers! It wasn't on the movies, but I've heard some of their VHS tapes do, so I will NEVER buy anything else from them again.
