When my and my Gf decide to get busy, I put on the condom and we start doing it, then after like 5 mins, she starts to say her pussy hurts, and she even says it burns alittle sometimes, We dont have any STD's, and im not even done yet when she tells me to hurry it up.

Is it the condoms? Or my penis?

Eric,

It's probably a lack of vaginal lubrication. Try Astroglide or Vagisil.

It can also be some kind of vaginal fungus (Not STD-related, mind you; even the moisture of long hours sitting down, wearing tight jeans, can cause fungii growth), and it´s very easy to check and get rid of.

Plus, some pre-lubricated can cause allergies in some women. Try switching brands.

.....

That's one of the tragedies of this life - that the men who are most in need of a beating up are always enormous.

I think it might be what Planet Sex said, a fungus, but it's called a yeast infection. You can buy stuff to get rid of it at any drugstore. Or sometimes, if there is nonoxynol-9 on the condoms, a lot of women are allergic to it and can sometimes cause a yeast infection. Or she could be allergic to the latex condoms.

But doesnt yeast infection smell, and anyways I already talked to her about it, and she got stuff but theres no yeast infection, so i think its the pre-lube or latex...

I want longer sex damnit!

If it´s a fungus , then it´s microscopic. Don´t expect to see a giant mushroom sprouting from her putzy. Unless it´s a VERY serious case, of course.

I ran into a similar problem once. Everything seemed to check out okay, but the problem persisted. After several trips to the doctors, it was finally determined to be a skin condition that made it so damn sensitive for her.

There was no yeast infection, and no STD, but boy was she sensitive and gave the same complaint as your GF.

It was successfully treated.

(Yes, we both got checked to make sure there wasn't some little thing that we kept passing back and forth to each other)

So what did they give her, or do you just have to deal with it.

No no no, NEVER try self-medication in those cases. See a doctor and let him prescript the correct medicine. The same remedy that heals me can kill you.

would everyone stop blaming the vagina! let's blame eric instead ;)

seriously, eric, are you pleasing your gf before sex? don't even put it in 'till you make her cum with your tongue.

condoms can definitely cause pain for women, especially if the woman is not naturally lubed before insertion.

"When my and my Gf decide to get busy, I put on the condom and we start doing it "

Eric, perhaps it's just your writing style, but if the actual experience is anything close to your description, I'd agree with Steph about her just not enjoying it, more than anything. Take more time leading up to it, tease her, make her want it so bad she tears your clothes off.

"don't even put it in 'till you make her cum with your tongue. "

I fear Eric might be the one complaining of soreness however, if she's anything like me.

Seems like you started a popular thread for responses.

Back to my response, I honestly can't remember what she was given to solve the problem. To many years have passed. However, it was a Dermatoligist that determined what it was, not an Internal Medicine Man.

I agree with Planet Sex, it's not a good idea to try self-medication.

Good luck.

I hate to be the voice of doom, but...

There may not be anything at all wrong with her. Some women just plain find intercourse uncomfortable. It just is. Her vaginal tissue might be very thin and prone to micro-tears, she may not be moist enough naturally, her tissue might be very sensitive to the pulling and friction, or she may have more pain receptors than usual. You can't treat those kinds of things (you can use lube, that helps - but not always). It doesn't mean she's sick, unclean, unexcited, or anything else - it just "IS".

There is also the possibility of referred pain. Sometimes pain in another part of the body is interpreted incorrectly. After you stop having intercourse, is she still sore? Is she puffy and inflamed? Does she experience unusual discharge immediately afterward? (usually allergic reactions to lubricants and spermicides cause rapid sloughing of the vaginal mucosa and mucous itself) If none of these are present, she might actually be "hurting" somewhere besides the vagina.

Don't self medicate. If SHE (not you) really feels this is a problem, encourage her to see a doctor.

One last thing. Don't forget that vaginal stimulation doesn't necessarily carry any pleasurable sensation at all. The vagina isn't really wired for pleasure, and only the first inch or so from the opening is really wired for sensation at all. Having intercourse is biologically intended to be pleasureable for males, to encourage them to impregnate females, that females enjoy it at all is only a side effect of the clitoral nerve bundle, which only exists because the clitoris and the penis originate from the same fetal tissue.

No, its not sore that much after, just till she goes to sleep, and the next day its fine again...

but everytime she says she wants to, it happens, except when shes super horny and she rides me, I think she trys to ignore it, but then like after 5 mins, she's says "Damnit, its starting to hurt."

Eric*, I have a friend that is like your girlfriend. She told me that it hurts when he puts it in, even when she is lubed up. She couldn't figure it out either. There was nothing wrong her (no diseases or infections), she even thought that it was in her mind. I haven't talked to her about it anymore, but I will ask her and see if the problem is any better or what she did about it.

Just for the heck of it, try one of the non-latex condoms.

There are any number of things that this could be, as evidenced by the large number of responses. But there are three easy things to try before you go to the doctor:

1. A non-latex condom. You can use the Durex somethingurethane ones, or for a more natural and pleasurable experience for BOTH of you (in my experience) try natural membrane condoms. CAUTION: these protect against pregnancy but NOT many STDs. If you use these you should both get tested for STDs exactly as if you were thinking about sex using alternate birth control like the pill or a diaphragm.

2. Make sure whatever condom you are using does not have nonoxonyl 9 anti-spermicide lube on it. Some women are irritated by this. In fact, make sure it has NO lube and then use...

3. More water-based lube. Unless she feels exquisitely and exuberantly juicy even when she is telling you it hurts. Some women are juicier than others, no harm no foul. And I have never heard of someone who is allergic to water-based, non-flavored/scented lube like astroglide for instance.

Once you have explored these simple home remedies, THEN you can start worrying about going to a doctor if the problem persists. Or you can just fuck her in the ass.

But thats the answer, ANAL!!!
Just gotta get her in the mood, we tried anal before, but when I put it her ass, and she started crying, I didnt have it all the way in either, but she lets me finger it and lick it, so... Does that anal desensitizing cream work?

I've tried Adam & Eve's Anal Easy lube, it numbs it a little. But you still have to work your fingers in first and she has to relax.

Eric,

I can't speak for the vaginal problem specifically, but you might investigate a latex sensitivity on the part of your GF. In the 1980's, a few of my freinds (I'm gay) began experiencing discomfort while having anal sex. Turned out they had developed an allergy/sensitivity to latex.

You might try a synthetic condom with no natural latex.

Oh yeah, that´s a detail. Sometimes, allergies appears out of the blue. I know a librarian that, after spending +15 years working with dusty books, got a serious allergy to dust. And it was practically overnight.

Pay no mind to Planet Sex. I've got what'll cure him, just as soon as he sends me that plane ticket to Brazil.

"Cooch" and "pussy," delightful as they are, are very broad terms. Is the pain localized in one particular area of your girlfriend's genitals (vulvar, vaginal, pelvic) or is it more diffuse? What kind of pain is it—dull, sharp, burning, raw, mild or strong?

The medical term for recurrent genital pain associated with intercourse is dyspareunia. It can have a variety of causes (some of which require medication, surgery, physical therapy or counseling), or as Kimi pointed out, no identifiable cause at all. An internet search for "vaginal pain" + "causes" yielded these top sites (I'm sure there are others that are good, as well):

Medical Library: Pain During Intercourse
Gynecological Causes of Pain
Sexual Pain Disorder

If this is truly interfering with your sex life (and it sounds like it is), it would be sensible to try the obvious remedies first (non-latex condoms, more lube, lots of foreplay, etc.), and if those don't work, make a gentle suggestion for a gynecological check-up.
