There are two more chats already lined up, and I'm sure there will probably be more based upon tonight's response. Thanks for all of the good questions that you guys sent. I'm sorry that we couldn't get everyone's questions asked--I did the best I could as literally dozens of questions came in each minute. Ok, I know I'm a newbie on this forum, and I don't want to step on any toes (at least until after I receive the DVD I won! ) But.... Overall the chat was great, however, the free for all at the end was completely ruined by the morons (you know who you are). Now, I realize my questions may not have held a lot of interest for other people, but some of the crap spewing out of people was just plain ridiculous. It made it hard to follow along with the "main event" when you have stuff like: I have about 7 other signed adult dvds if anyone is interested email xxxx@xxxxx... This was repeated I don't know how many times. Matrix RULES! - What does this have to do with Kylie Ireland? I am the Antichrist - Good for you.... Anyone else miss the "good old days" of the internet when only people with at least a bit of a clue were online? Someone should have blown up that "on-ramp to the information superhighway" long ago before the idiots managed to get on a cause a huge problem for the rest of us. Sorry if this offends anyone, but I'm just so sick of idiots without a clue ruining what could have been a better time for those of us who were interested in what's going on. -Mongo

I agree with Mongo about how the morons ruined the un-moderated part. I also didn't care for Kylie telling me to quit "acting" like a nice guy for telling them to lay off, thoughher wishing me a "Happy Birthday" did make up for that. However the behaviour of a lot of the people there was very immature and obnoxious. If a free-for-all style chat is done again, people like that should be warned or kicked. ------------------ Don't Panic! [Link] |

Mongo, I agree with your comments. The chat was awesome. Kylie impressed me with her intelligence and her openness. And it was sad that the morons began posting the way they did during the free-for-all. The proof that they are indeed morons is that they are too shortsighted to see how in the long run they only hurt themselves, as more and more celebrity guests begin to refuse to chat. On the other hand, I still think that is the best way to hold a chat, start with a lengthy moderated session and end with a short free-for-all. Provided the guest is 1) willing, and 2) briefed ahead of time by the hosts on what the free-for-all will be like. [Link] |

Kylie was awesome. She was quick with intelligent, funny answers. I'm very glad she was our first chat. In the future we will set more more moderators to kick out the brats. Ford- Don't take it personally - look at what Kylie had to deal with. She was just kidding around. It's hard to keep up with the free for all (I've been there - if you remember the divadee chat at DVD Talk.) Thank you [url=176520]Kylie!</A And Thank you [url=278135]Five Star DVD!</A [Link] |

Ford and Mongo: We were really lucky that Kylie knew what to expect and took everything in stride with a sense of humor. She also stayed a lot longer to answer questions in un-moderated mode than we thought she would. Truly a classy and smart star! In addition to more moderators next time, I think there will be ground rules laid ahead of time so everyone knows what proper chat room etiquette is. I think there will be more booting of unruly participants too. Not only is foul language and inappropriate conduct not tolerated on the chat server that hosts the session, but it ruins the experience for the majority of people who just want to meet their favorite stars. Because of Kylie's great understanding and because the vast majority of people were well behaved, we decided not to be heavy handed tonight. But I'm almost positive that will change, especially with the feedback so far. Thanks again! Any plans of having the Kylie Chat up so us poor pitiful souls who couldn't make it live could at least read about it? [Link] |

We will post a transcript of the chat early next week to the web site. It will take us a litle while to go through it and edit the typos just to clean it up. [Link] |

I thought it was great... of course I won a DVD, which doesn't hurt (BTW, I'm still waiting to hear back from steph/ADT). Chats just need two words: streaming video I hope advances by powerhouses like AOL/Time-Warner, ex-CEO Bill Gates, and the rumoured Yahoo!/Fox merger make this more practical in the near future. ------------------

Shawnimal We hear you on the streaming video - lots of issues there, but we will get to it. As far as prizes - I'm waiting for them to arrive here then I will send them out to you, Tigger, Mongo, toolfan, and waynestock. I had to weed through emails of people claiming to be the winners. [Link] |
