Normally in porn the girls are petite, so I'm used to having to be the dominant one by default because I'm always the big one. Serena really threw me around the bed and I had a blast. I've also filmed the first installment of a series called Lesbian Guidance Counselor that should be coming out in the next two weeks. I have titles coming out about once a week starting the end of this month. An office movie where I have a scene with Dana Vespoli who plays my domineering boss. With so many complex layers to your character Nica asked a hell of a lot from you and you delivered by the bucket load. Odd, intimidating, mysterious and seductive, you brought every one of those elements to your character superbly from the outset. But for me it was the intimidating presence you bought to the character which really stood out. The edgy, slightly frightening side to Celine keeps the viewer constantly engaged. Oh and the sex how can I forget the sex. Your performance in the scene with Jasmine Jem was very intense and just about as convincing as it gets in a porn scene, nothing flaky at all. There's a clearer message from the ending scene(s) with Jasmine. Any guy who thinks it's a good idea to introduce another girl into the bedroom, don't. Chances are if she gets treated anything like how Sovereign treated Jasmine Jem in this movie you seriously run the risk of losing her for good, lol. My Sister Celine is easily one of the best xxx movies I've seen in the last couple of years, absolutely loved it and highly recommend it. Nice job! [Link]

Especially Jasmine Jem, but also the audience. I'm really glad the movie has had a strong reception. It was a magical first experience. It was my first adult film after all. I know that both Nica and I have strong feelings about bringing challenging as well as quality erotica to the genre, so I hope that the result was achieved here. I'm especially proud of the work that I've done with Nica and I'm confident her work with her new studios is going to experience the same success she brought to Sweetheart Video while she was there. She's also one of several models who expressed that she didn't want to 'become a porn star' per se, but to do special projects exclusively for me "on the side" of her primary career as an art model. There was never a written contract for Sovereign nor for any of the women who express a desire to work exclusively for me. But I considered her a potentially special find, and as such I gave her a great deal of publicity and focused a lot of attention on building her a quality erotic film career. However, it's no criticism of Sovereign to say that what often follows the above-scenario is the girl who had "no intention of doing porn" observes herself becoming a star, and decides she wants to capitalize on it beyond what I can reasonably offer. After all, I only make two girl/girl movies a month; I can't support the career of someone who's decided she wants to be a full-time lesbian performer. That's what happened with Sovereign. She was expressing concern that being so closely associated with my films might even prevent her from being hired by other studios (who would assume she was "Nica's girl" and thus not want to, I don't know, take my sloppy seconds? Something along those lines.) So after a successful six months of collaboration, I suggested she spread her wings and capitalize on "the buzz." I'm not shooting her for the time being so that other producers will know she's now a free agent. But we're about to release Lesbian Guidance Counselor #2 in which Sovereign stars. For the record, I don't plan to submit to any exclusivity deals with models from here on. There are so many girls with whom I want to work, and it's of little benefit to me or the fans if I'm beholden to just one for an extended period of time. But I wish Miss Sovereign nothing but success in building a career that's already off to a fascinating start and I'm very proud of the work we've done together. Particularly "My Sister Celine" and the upcoming "One Night Stand," which also stars porn newcomer Jennnifer Best, another model I "discovered." (As a side note, Jennifer has also decided to pursue a full time lesbian porn career and she is now signed with OC Models. Please check her out - she's absolutely stunning.) [Link]
