Also,with all the ass and big-butt themed DVD's that have enjoyed popularity,it seems the market for spanking videos would be ripe.I've seen ass-slapping and brief spankings in many films,so why no full-fledged releases?There have been many second-tier releases and British films,but I would love to see some of the major studios do some hi-def DVD's with top-notch girls.Spanking is a well-known fetish and there would certainly be a market for it.Are there legal ramifications for certain companies releasing them?Or,are these films forever relegated to lower-budget companies,with "name" girls rarely(if ever)performing in them? Even light spanking that doesn't hurt much ends up leaving marks just because of repeat impact in the same area (the hiney). Then you're out of work until it's gone. Nobody wants a sex scene from a girl with a purple butt, and nobody wants a BDSM scene with a girl who is ALREADY marked up. A week to ten days of no work for a BDSM scene that only pays 100$ an hour (yeah, they usually pay hourly instead of the flat rate that sex scenes pay - I don't know why) is a financially poor choice for most performers. Of course, speaking of the pay rate, that may be the reason some performers don't choose BDSM scenes at all. They usually take longer than sex scenes to shoot (although not as long as you might be on a feature set) and the pay is usually an hourly rate. Against sex scene rates they're a lot of time for a little money. Heavily booked popular performers that do gonzo scenes are not going to take a 600$ 6 hour day being tied up/spanked and give up a 1000$ 2 hour day sex scene. Also, just a personal opinion, I don't know if it's just me, but the BDSM film world is so lacking in imagination it's hard not to just laugh when you're working for them. "Okay now, you're all tied up, squirm like you're trying to get out of it, but like you love it and you're having an orgasm you didn't expect." Really, it's ridiculous. [Link] |
