I chose it because it was supposedly heavy POV ass eating/oral from some very pretty performers.....Amy Reid, Penny Flame, Avy Scott (love her) and several others. The talk during the scenes clearly is aimed at those guys who enjoy humiliation and/or submissive fantasies. But other than supporting my point, that isn't what bothered me the most. The whole movie is basically unwatchable. The camera guy clearly has a plex/glass plate over the lens that is spit upon repeatedly throughout the flick, obscuring most of the action and forcing you to watch the whole video through a haze of runny spit and smears. Totally the opposite of erotic camera shots in my opinion. Without that, even WITH spitting, this could have been some good porn. So I'll stick with...me no likey. To each their own. [Link]

I was unaware that spitting on a camera lens is associated with some body parts or that it creates strong sexual emotions. If you at least agree that it's non erotic, what is the point of featuring it in an adult movie, which essentially is used for sexual stimulation/gratification? If I make a movie (with some sex content in it) showing me raking the grass, do I call that a fetish and will it sell a lot? [Link]

Click to expand No, I don't see. A fetish as defined has to have some sexual connotation. Spitting on a camera lens, has no such connotation and does not produce strong sexual emotions. Perhaps you should be talking to a good psychiatrist and see what he thinks of it. I think someone just wants to sell it as such when it is not. Spitting on a camera lens is just as erotic as walking your dog outside. But perhaps there is hope that my raking the lawn will take hold, and someone will buy my video. Personally, I found the spitting thing kind of intriguing for a while but once the novelty wore off, it was just annoying. In fact you might find productions entirely focused on licking the camera lens. Many of these are even on YouTube as they would be considered non-sexual by a non-fetishist. So to assume that this is not or can not possibly be a fetish is wrong indeed. The spit does not "obscure" the camera lens or the action, as it is intentionally part of what is being filmed. Click to expand I just watched the trailers of Spit In Your Face (1&2). They look pretty damned hot to me. I don't think the spit remaining on the cam lens would necessarily bother me (I hate unnecessary clean up). In POV, the camera is intended to be from your viewpoint, and if the camera guy was wiping it off every time a girl spit on it, it'd be like you wiping your face off with a hand towel after every spitting. If you really got off on a girl spitting in your face, you probably wouldn't be wiping yourself down after each spit. (of course, if it was impeding your vision it would mean that she spat in your eyes, in which case you would blink a few times to clear off your point of view. Then again, POV isn't intended to be 100% true to form, so you could argue for realism on either side of the fence.) BUT... the fact that is exclusively ass eating/oral (I generally don't like oral-only flicks), instead of a POV with fucking, is a big strike against it. Another strike is that it appears that the girls only spit/drool on the camera lens and not onto themselves or their partners (other than maybe their cocks). Third strike is, as the LuveNLuv mentioned above, that it's geared towards humiliation/degradation/domination-submission.
