Hello to everybody.

Can someone tell me why SPIZOO s using the DVD-R format to produce their DVDs? For me, as an avid Porn DVD collector this is an absolute NOGO! I surely will not buy any SPIZOO DVD anymore, as I was very disappointed the moment I got those Flicks. (Bought at ADULTDVDEMPIRE).

Well, lets see for future.

^ PervCity DVDs also are only DVD-R anymore. Not sure if all DVDs produced by ASM (the distributor for PervCity) are DVD-Rs. Cover printing is also shoddy to say the least...


In other news, I'm a soundtrack collector (for normal movies), the recent "Godzilla vs. Kong" , "Wonder Woman 84", "Dune" CDs are now also CD-Rs... Totally unacceptable for the collector. I mean, that's not something I want to put in my collection, if I'm only interested in the music itself, I't be using digital downloads and not bother with the haptic sensation at all. But I guess that's what now is defined as progress.

Pretty obvious, sales don't match up. No need to print 1000 units of a title if sales top out at 100 or so. Since gonzo porn is like soap operas, viewers move on quickly. Do you care about last year's episodes of days of our lives? nope, same for porn in the eyes of the studios. They will eventually stop printing DVDs though. The internet will get faster and bitrates will increase. After 10 years I've moved from 10mbps (cable) to 100mbps (fiber) net speeds. Streaming is the present and future my friends. Replicated discs will go the way of the dodo bird.

edit: same distro as perv city. Considering DVDs cost as low as 5 cents apiece, seems pretty darn lazy to do dvd-r.
