I think that's cool how you write reviews Rico and are a director/performer. To me that shows you really care about content because you are learning from others. I hope to direct something this year and have gotten more into writing reviews to learn more about what I like/dislike in porn so hopefully I will make better adult films whenever I do give it a shot. I already have the camera and I'm in the process of saving up the money. It's one thing to watch porn, it's another to analyze what's hot and what's not hot. Why is this hot? Why is this not hot? How could this have been better? You don't think about that when you watch porn regularly. I would say a lot of directors never get around to analyzing it and in many ways it's like a porn graduate degree or something after you review so many DVDs. As far as Sprung a Leak 3, I haven't seen it yet but like how Isis Love is squirting in it so may check it out. How has directing been like Mr. Pete? Any tips for new directors out there planning to get into it? I guess in your case, the tip would be, bring lots of towels. :)

Magic...The review thing serves multiple purposes for me. First and foremost, it's an opportunity to look at styles/techniques of several people that I know, love and respect. No matter how talented, there's no one above getting a pointer or two. Even Michael Jordan needed a little coaching baby. Secondly, it's a free audition. In other words, I check the female talent very closely to see who is pumping the energy and has the necessary "whore factor" that I like for my stuff. It's a great way for me to check them out prior to me booking them; only to waste my goddamn money. Third, is the critique (good and bad) to say, "hey, I love this shit...keep doing it" or "dude, I know you can do better. Step your game up".
