It has found 12 spywares I had since last june and what weren't found by AD AWARE and SPYBOT ( even in advanced mode ) . I advise you to download the latest version ( I think it's SPY SWEEPER 3.0 ) because we must pay for updates . But the reference list is already very important , more important than the one from AD AWARE or the one from SPYBOT . It can find more spywares than AD AWARE and SPYBOT and it has a spyware guard function . So you are protected against spywares attacks when you are online !!! I now have my Windows XP set with all of the Microsoft security settings at Max. (At least when I'm surfing the naughty sites.) XP Firewall in on. I also run: McAfee Anti-Virus Every day I run a virus check, clean out the Temp files, clean the Registry, run the spyware/adware checkers, etc. I run all of my "Cleaning" programs listed above, every day, to make sure my tracks are as invisible as possible. I'm probably more secure then most surfers but probably not as secure as I need to be. Also, it seems, IMO, so many sites use ActiveX (XXX and Regular) that it would be difficult to surf without it.
