jamesn Senior Member Cambridge, MA 750 Posts 1/04	Posted - Mar 20 2005 : 8:00AM i think it's a combo of pretty unsophisticated webmasters like hardware mentioned and some amoral ones that know exactly what they're doing. if you ever click on the webmaster-related links on lukeisback.com it's pretty obvious they still use dialers and whatever they can to make money to buy tacky gold chains/rims for cheesy sportscars. it may be the most parasitic, objectionable bunch of people one could assemble-they're almost so busy stealing from each other to bother with user-tracking and spyware-which is why i've never spent a cent on an adult website and i think many who have will get so tired of being burned that industry will shrink and people will go back to ponzi schemes, insurance fraud, dishonest car-repair, etc. [Link]
