Id like to start of by saying, i love my fans. but when they start tracking me down its just scary. so today as i was taking my dog for her daily walk a man in his late 30s driving a silver car pulled up to me and said " hey Christie lee. can i have an autograph? im a big fan" as he opened his passenger door.normaly i would be happy to sign something for a fan but i was alone and this guy was creepy. i said sorry im not her,and i kept on walking not paying anymore attention. he started saying in a frustrated manner "i know your Christie i have all your films, i jerk off to you everyday i can get enough. i watch you come out of you apt. to walk your dog too. ( who admits this??) whats her name? can you show me where you got the skirt your wearing? it looks really pretty on you. can you come here so i can check your size? at that point i stopped and said " fuck off asshole! stop following me or ill call the police." then he just drove away. i have never been more scared in my life! im never walking alone again. and i live in a pretty nice neighborhood. so to all you porn fans out there there are many ways to get an autograph from your fav porn star,like adult conventions or any other adult event. stalking her is not the way.
I'm really sorry to hear this happened to you but I'm really glad you're ok! Yeah there are ways to meet up with your favorite gal but this wasn't one of them. Christie, invest in a 5-shot .38 Smith & Wesson Centennial with no hammer and some hollow-points. I say no hammer cuz you can shoot from inside your pants pocket without worrying about the hammer catching cloth. This When you shoot, just focus your mind on pulling the trigger and not on the flesh exploding. Also, buy plenty of new shorts or pants cuz the fire burns are irreparable. I think you might have enough good reasons to apply for and receive a gun carry permit. Here in my dumb state, only the Governor and the Chief of Police's sister can carry a gun. How unfair.
Christie, first off I'm sorry you had to encounter this weirdo and I hope he doesn't cause you any more trouble. If this guy keeps on bugging you it is a good idea to contact the police. My sister had a stalker a few years ago and put her thru hell, so much so she had to move to another state. As far as I know, he's just a bad memory now and no longer a threat to her. But to be on the safe side you should at the very least start carrying pepper spray with you every where you go just in case. And make sure your doors and windows are secure and the outside of your home well-lit. Last but not least, always be aware of your surroundings any time you leave your home!
Ah, Deathstar is obviously in Hawaii. Because of the scandal, the police chief's sister no longer has a permit. All those cops who work violent crimes get to walk around unarmed when off duty also.
Sorry you were stalked. Glad you got out of it okay. While what you do may increase your chances of being stalked, ordinary people go through it. I've known two women who guys tried to grab. One was jogging through a park, another was outside her mother's office building. I myself have been stalked by a woman, and ended up hoping she didn't know I had a concealed gun permit (had one before this happened). Very uncomfortable and creepy. Rachets up the paranoia.
I'd say get a big territorial dog. It helps when you jog, but they react to odd sounds around the house too. Getting a concealed carry permit is different in every state. This is a big step that takes much thinking. If you live in California, it is easier to get if you don't live in L.A. or San Fran. Sheriffs issue them. The more rural areas are better. Some of the regulations are at Packing. I have always been of the belief that if you aren't willing to use a gun, it is better not to have one around. This is not a decision to be made in panic or without forethought. If you have more interest in this path, I can give you the names of some forums that will discuss training, equiptment, etc.

for a short time I was a writer for an adult website and it was my job to interview and talk with a few stars. before you ask I never got the big names to interview because they always wanted money, and I wasn't being paid to do the job so why would they pay them. through this process I talked to a number of stars and actually continue to talk with two of them.
to make a long story short I just wanted to say you'll never catch me stalking any stars. besides which it is pretty hard for a guy with one leg and on crutches to hide behind a tree without being seen.
This is sad. Depending on your state getting a concealed weapons permit might be fairly easy. I just looked up the requirements for my area and I can't believe how easy it is. I'm considering getting one.
What kind of dog do you have? Would your dog be compatible with a pit bull? (I'm serious.) We have four dogs. Two are pit bulls one is a great dane. People do not like to come near our house. It's odd but most people find the dane to be more fearsome when he's basically harmless.
Pits are incredible pets if you get them as puppies. The younger the better IMO. Get them socialized at a young age. Very loving, very loyal and extremely protective. I think the Staffordshire Terrier is the most common family pet in England. No one in their right mind will fuck with you when they see one of these dogs bare their teeth. (They're so cute.)
there is nothing worse than being famous and not having the means to completely protect yourself (most pornstars coexist in society with everyone else), and not being able to have security. California gun laws are the strictest in the country, there are no concealed weapons permits to be had. I keep mine very handy at home
That really sucks. That stalker shit. I have a couple of muscian friends who have to deal with weirdness. (Of course, the male ones sometimes cash in, only to regret it). you should file a report right away. the cops wont care but God Forbid it seems he is in your neigborhood and if anything were to happen , they could help faster.
I agree with Kami. Get the police involved immediatly. At least thats a start. Buy pepper spray or a stun gun and then practice and make sure you feel confident and know how to use it if you ever had to.

Yes, file a report and try to give the police as much info on this guy that you can. Car, looks, etc.
The cops won't do shit the first time, but if there is something on record, then they will have to do something the second.
Pepperspray was a good suggestion. I know a switchblade knife isn't legal, but it's small, convenient, easily accessible and you could probably pick one up at the swap meet for less than 10 bucks.
Actually any knife would be good, but you don't want a Rambo style one that requires a belt attachment to hold. Unfortunately most compact knifes either fold or are in some way concealable, thus illegal. But it may be a good thing to have regardless.
Here's a nice little knife for pretty girls. Get the serrated edge one and easy to wear around your neck and under your shirt. Charge the guy and tackle his leg. Stab deep into back thigh muscle and push down with cutting edge of blade. Repeat as necessary until screaming stops.
I'm sure you could recruit an all-volunteer ADT Honor Guard, but that might be worse than the problem!

I should try stalking as a hobby, it can be really fun and safe if you do it right. I have binocs, a notepad, and camera, all I need is just a good super telephoto lens, black boots, black raincoat, black fedora and either a white or red scarf. Ohh and yeah, the night vision device.

CA has anti-stalking laws, and they take it very seriously. Because of the large number of celebrities in LA, they have an anti-stalking task force that you should notify asap. At the very least they will pay him a visit and that might be enough to scare the crap out of him, as he has done to you. Good luck Christi.
Actually the main thing about filing a police report is to start a paper trail. You can show a history. If this persists and this guy is found out, you can more easily get a restraining order with a history of incidents. You can more easily show police negligence if there is a long history that they did nothing about.
About knives. Forget the switchblade idea entirely. If you need to use it, you may end up behind bars too - it is a Federal Law. Don't mess with Ashcroft. Many knives now have thumb studs that allow you to open them as fast as you can point it at somebody - as fast as you could ever use it. Blades under 3" are legal in most states, 2.75" is a very common blade length. A good one won't cost too much and has a sturdy clip. I don't care much for serrated knives for fighting - they look more viscious than they are, which leads to police over reacting on you.
Look into that dog thing. There are a number of good medium size breeds for this. Don't get a purebreed. It will be for protection, not competition.
If you know anybody who actually knows fighting/self defence techniques, go there. Classes tend not to cover much and only get you started. Classes also tips your stalker off on what you are trying to do.
Watch your car mirrors and stay aware of your surroundings (good idea in any case). Many crimes happen in areas where the victim feels safe. Retreat when you can, attack when you must (and with conviction).
Regarding the self defense class, I say hell yeah. You never know when you won't have a weapon or guard dog with you, but if you learn how to use your fists to protect yourself, you'll be much better off. I recommend something that teaches practical self defense and street fighting techniques as opposed to one of the more formal martial arts. In fact, I recommend all women take some kind of self defense classes. It'll really build up your self confidence which in itself will deter potential attackers.
Self confidence is great - if it is warrented. This is why actually knowing how to fight and escape is so important. A real class instead of one that teaches some ineffectual 'moves' is needed. Preferably one that teaches you how to escape/fight in actual street cloths and shoes - what you would actually be in when anything happens.
A thinking attacker will try to gain the greatest advantage possible, this is why situational awareness is important. There is a real difference between being aware and paranoid. This guy showed himself to you before doing trying anything drastic. This is good, it takes away some of his initiative and the advantage of surprise. Don't give it back. The danger was always there, but now you know.
Keep a cell phone with you at all times, charged. Hopefully a camera phone so you can take his picture, a picture of his vehicle, or liscence plate.
Being a fan is not such a bad thing but it does become a problem when fans get kind of obsesed like this guys sounds.
There are some pornstars I really like but if I would see them on the street I would never approach them because I know they don't like that shit. Their privacy is their privacy and everybody should respect that.

I don't know what angers me more about this incident. The fact that it happened period or the fact that this WACKO get labeled a "Porn Fan". He is crazy first. He didn't get crazy because he was a fan of Porn and/or Christie. Being around ADT for a little while now I have realized the Pornstar/Fan relationship is very odd. Some so called "fans" will come into a place like ADT and disrespect a Pornstar that they buy the films of. Why would you spend the money and time on something/someone you don't respect? on the other side of that.... A lot of Pornstars seem to see their fans(or fans of Porn in general) as these non-human deviant detached from reality whole dwelling freaks, but these are the people that buy their work, create a buzz which eventually gets them a bigger name, and puts more money in their pockets. I wonder if there will ever be a time when this respect gap will ever be bridged? I sure hope so.

You said your never walking your dog alone again. I think you were probably saved in this situation because you were on a public street. From what you told us this guy said he seems to have atleast a basic idea of the apartment you live in. That is where if he were to take it to a more dangerous level it would take place. You may want to do some mingling with your neighbors. If you have a respectful physically capable male in your apartments you could ask him to keep his eyes open for any strange people hanging around your apartments. If there is no male like that maybe there is a sweet but nosey old lady in your apartments and maybe she could keep her eyes open for you. If neither of those is possible maybe ask a male(or kick ass female) friend you trust to stay with you till you feel safe. Though if you do find yourself having to go out alone carry things with you that you might be able to use as a weapon. I know you all are thinking gun or knife, but those would be major deals. I'm talking more about small items like a can of mace. Household type items like a small screw driver or kitchen fork. Things you can get in the habit of grabbing on your way out the door that wont effect your ease of life, but could give you the second you need to keep yourself safe.

Tell your apartment manager about this man and and what he looks like, what kind of car he drives, so the manager can keep a watch out for this guy, in case he keeps hanging out by your apartment. And if you know your neighbors well enough, tell them too.
And file a report with the police, it can't hurt.
Pepper spray and a cell phone on you whenever you're out doors are good ideas. There are also these alarms that you can attach to your key chain, then let off a piercing noise like a car alarm if you press the button. Getting a bigger dog is an option, but a big dog in an apartment might not be a good fit.
As far as carrying a knife or gun, I'm not so sure about this. I'm small like you, and it would be way too easy for the average man, or even a small man, to wrestle a weapon out of my hands.
Even non-porn women have problems with creeps. Over the years, I've been stalked by a man at work, had to have my phone number changed twice because of obscene phone calls, and once had a neighbor who would watch my windows every night, waiting until I turned all the lights out, then call me and hang up (like he had nothing better to do).

Well, I confess I might have pulled over myself if I suddenly saw someone familiar. Freaking out at everyone is also somewhat paranoid. I mean haven't we had threads where porn chicks were saying like "don't be shy. come and say hello if you see us in public"? However, in this case, the dude crossed the line, IMO.
If I walked past a porn star (or any other public figure) I liked on the street, I'd probably smile and nod, but unless they clearly signalled that they wanted to chat, I'd just keep walking.
Public figures should IMHO accept some interest from the tabloids, but other people shouldn't bother them on the street. Only exception I'd really make would be if the celeb was a children's idol (e.g. sports star) and it was kids walking up to them.
thank yous for all your concern and advice. i did talk to my landlady and a few people that i know live in my building, they said they would keep an eye out for me. as far as getting a gun goes. i would feel even more scared having one in my presents. i don't like them. i had a gun before when i lived in canada but it was used againt me by my crazy ex boy friend who got drunk threated to blow my head off if i didn't try to have his kid, but thats another story.i will on the other hand get pepper spray and maybe a small knife to carry on me. my dog is usless,shes a 3 pound toy pomeranian, she was wagging her tail trying to go towords the guys car, so maybe getting a bigger dog would be a good thing. anyway thank you again guys. i hope this guy gets a clue and doesn't come around anymore.

It's not a matter of size--dogs we're talking about here--it's a matter of mien or bearing. A three pound dog with a 70 pound attitude is plenty scary, let me tell you.
Christie, you simply can't go wrong with pepper spray for self protection. There are many kinds on the market to choose from but its best to get one thats very powerful for maximum defense. Once you have made your choice make sure to practice spraying it, but be careful you don't get any in your face. Once you've become comfortable using it, always carry it with you on your person when ever you leave your home as its definitely better to be safe than sorry. One more thing: as someone else already mentioned, if you happen to see this creep again try to get the licence plate number of his vehicle. That way he can be easily traced if he starts stepping out of line again. Hopefully this idiot got the hint and won't be bothering you again. Best of luck and take care!

It just occurred to me while I was driving to return my porno rentals that your experience closely mimics last week's Las Vegas CSI. A porno star was approached for her autograph and a conversation like you. She was walking her dog like you. She was afraid and denied she was that person like you. He forced her into the park bushes and strangled her. Then he returned later that night with his girlfriend and made sick love to her in the bushes right next to the corpse. The girlfriend couldn't see the victim in the dark. The dog did bite the perp, and since dogs don't brush their teeth, the perp's DNA was found in the crevices. The detective interviewed the girlfriend who explained he had sexual difficulties and couldn't fuck without watching porn. The disorder was called "porn creep" when people begin to beleive the movies are their reality.

Personally, I see nothing wrong in saying hi in a civilized way and moving on. I don't think that most porn stars are bombarded with fans and paparazzi like Hollywood celebs. However, creeps who say stuff like "OMG! I jerk off to you every day. Can I see you pussy?" or suchlike deserve to be pepper sprayed on sight, IMO.
That should normally be difficult but sometimes information comes through a third person - after all, porn stars have a past like any other person - or by coincidence.
By coincidence I have found out the (presumably) real names of two porn stars, one British and one German, because the girls in question were thoughtlessly volunteering more information than was asked of them in casting situations. In one case I later found information in regular news media which confirmed the ID.
I'm not trying to 'track down' anyone but anything the girls say about their personal lives interests me, kinda like many music or film fans are interested in details about their heroes.
