Greetings all,
Can anyone help me find the name of this girl and possibly the DVD this was ripped from?
Special Note: Do NOT click on the video picture links, instead of playing the video, it tries to install an ActiveX thing on your computer. I did figure out that if you change the last part of the URL to from "gallery3.php" to 1.mpg or 2.mpg and so forth it will play the video(quicktime format)
Hope that helps guys, I don't want any of you thinking this is a phishing attempt on my part. I just want to know the ID of the hottie in these videos!
Thanks!

I think this is Phishing. That site tries to get you to install a "new ActiveX control" which could be absolutely anything. No Thanks.

I don't know about you Dr., but it took me to a movie site.
Sorry, can't help with the id.

Hi guys, that's what I thought too. Luckily, since I'm on a mac it couldn't install whatever nefarious app it might have, if it is indeed a phishing attempt.
I'm just looking for an ID so I can watch this girl legitimately :)

Redish,
Click on any of the "video" links and watch what happens. It will try to get you to install something called "setup. exe" and won't play any video. This is, unless you have already installed their codec (which may or may not contain other software).

Hey there, sorry I forgot to mention that risk, I edited my first posting to warn about that possibility. Also, I figured out how to get the video playback without getting that ActiveX thing. See post

This sounds exactly like what is going on.
Be afraid...
Vista Security
Will Vista improve the situation? It may do so, however slowly at first. But this will be for a limited time only, until the bad guys shift to other tactics to get around the security improvements in Vista. The most promising avenue to push malware onto a Vista machine may very well be social engineering. In other words, trick the user into consenting to the download and execution of malware. Why even try to break down the back door with an exploit when you can sweet-talk your way in through the front door? We know from our experience with adware that tricking users is quite easy. Thus, it is no surprise to me that the Zlob trojan-downloader class is so huge right now-the Zlobs are fake codecs and media enhancements that users download and install on the mistaken assumption that they'll get to see some free porn. The Zlobs have been enormously successful for the bad guys, as have the continuing pollution of rogue anti-spyware programs.
