A scene, if talent is paid for, could cost approximately $1200 to $2000 or more. Therefore just to open a site, not compete, I would suggest somewhere in the neighborhood of $25,000 to $50,000. So now i'm only worried about paying for the talent, which isn't to bad since they are in the $800-$1,200 range. I just wanted to start my own site like DirtyJason.com has. (Fetish, Lesbian, Reality, etc.) - is this market over-saturated with content? - am I going to use affiliates or rely on my own traffic and marketing skills? (even if you could use affiliates could you survive on your own traffic during the leaner times?) And say what you will about gofuckyourself.com it is the biggest webmaster board and if you filter through the bullshit then there is a goldmine of free info there. And very useful contacts to be made there. pornojunkies.com is another smaller but more friendly board.
