Niiiiiice! It really gets me that some people have that much talent (and energy). I've got a set of headphones that's been sitting around for weeks I've been planning on modding. I just can't get off my butt and do it.

If the guy was going to go to all that trouble, he should have done something about that tacky curly cable. A straight cord, with fabric covering like on a really old toaster cord, would be so much cooler looking.
I wish. Mostly drilling holes. Or enlarging the ones that are already there, rather. That and adding some material to (hopefully) reduce resonance. I know it'd be a lot easier just to buy better headphones but I'm stubborn and broke.
Yeah. Those coily cords are a real PITA. Hell, I remember having one of those old IBM keyboards with the coiled cord. I also got one for 50 cents a few years ago at a garage sale. Good deal for a back up.
