When I saw the name in the ADT new releases, I immediately added it to my comparison cart in order to buy it. When I transferred to a retailer, I was pretty disappointed to find out that it wasn't the Stephanie Dahl movie. [Link] |

I bought the VHS quite some time ago, and the front cover didn't even have Stephanie featured. There is a small pic of her on the back which shows her rear view. A nice view, but if you don't know stephanie you'd hardly be able to know the incredible rack she has. What fucking idiot decided on that picture? Obviously big companies like VIVID, (God I hate the vapid shit the produce) have people who have no interest in porn doing the job of packaging and they could care less who is in the features. It's the director/producer's job to make suggestions that would help put the best face on the covers. Just needed to get that off my chest. I feel better now. [Link] |

Here's a tip for porn producers from an real life ad guy - quit making covers that are impossible to read. The layouts on the covers make the title impossible to read, limit memorability and sales. Cool design that makes words difficult to read completely defeats the purpose of the words in the first place. Words are for communicating information, they are not graphic design elements. Fire any graphics guy who tells you otherwise. Also, fuck the reflective covers. Jesus. Lights in the porno store impair it's readability and you can't see a thing on the cover. Plus it's expensive to print on that paper stock. What a double-whammy! Impossible to read or see the promo photos, plus more expensive. What genius decided that was a good idea?
