In porn for the most part MILFs are much more about body type than actual age. The more curvy women are usually cast as MILFs and age isn't that important as long as she isn't considered a "teen". The reason the whole MILF genre exploded in porn to begin with is because they started casting hotter "younger" (30s to 40s) as "older" women where as before with the "mature" genre, age (40 plus) was more important than looks. Most of the top MILFs back then in porn mostly had one thing in common...they were mostly all "curvier" women with fuller figures. And as time went on the body type became more important than age and MILFs began to get younger. Most fans didn't mind. It's all fantasy. The women are playing roles. They didn't have to be actual mothers and they didn't have to be the age some people decided they had to be. For me personally, I don't care if the woman playing a MILF is a mom or not. In fact I'd rather not know. Fantasy-wise, if I'm going to apply the "MILF" idea...in my mind a woman with a teen-aged kid can be sexy just as a younger woman with a 1 year old can be also. In a movie or real life setting the men and the boys in a neighborhood could have the hots for the neighborhood mom regardless of her age. She'd be considered a MILF. Because with this logic the genre Interracial would mean that there are different races. Milf and Interracial are just labels used to adress a particular fetish, not definitions on a encyclopedia, so to consider the terms strictly is absurd in both cases: there are no races (there are no racial differences between white and black men), and milf is not a terms that implies a real mother. As I've said two times before in this discussion, the label Milf was made popular on the movie "American pie", where a group of young guys wanted to have sex with the mother of one of them. So it's about young guys and mature women (because the mother of a guy who's eighteen, nineteen year old can't obviously be in her 20s... if a woman is extremely young when she has a child she could be in her mid thirties when the guy is a teenager, but she's usually older or even much older than that). Cougar is about the same thing, with the only difference being that in this case it's the woman looking for a young man, that implies a more aggressive female and a more passive young man. Curvy... well that's not written anywhere. There are tons of skinny milfs. For curvy women, there are other labels, like "curvy", bbw and stuff like that. Separate things.
