But if you're at all interested in keeping tabs on what's happening outside the bunghole, check her out because she did deserve the award as THE standout performer of the year in terms of visibility and lustability and impact. In an era where gonzo and anal and natural breasts are key they give the "Best New Starlet" award to a feature lady who doesn't do anal with implants. Despite what I have indicated, I do think she is gorgeous and I wish her congratulations on her win but I honestly didn't even know she was nominated. Should we start putting more stock into the Rog's Choice awards? His new starlet was Amee Donovan and I questioned that because I didn't consider her that new but I would have picked her over Stormy any day. Am I missing the point though? Is the new starlet supposed to actually be for feature girls? If so then everything I've said is crap and I actualy agree with the choice. Anyone? Kelly [Link] |

As far as giving it to a "feature" girl vice a "gonzo" girl goes. A non-contract girl who does gonzo will do 10 times (if not more) more movies a year than a contract girl. Does that mean the contract girl can't win. If they (AVN) goes the route they have in the past and split the catagory into Best New Starlet - Gonzo and Best New Starlet - Feature what do you do with women like Aurora Snow who can do both equally well? All in I can't say I disagree with the choice. Their list for Best New Starlet was better than most (even with some of it's omissions) so at least they were trying to recognize the women that deserved it. [Link] |
