Sadly this unfortunate incident with Stormy might kill any chance of her being able to make a run about this. If she did run, and she certainly still might, then her opponents would use this incident to completely ignore her message. No judgement on Stormy here. I've written extensively about this sort of thing and I realize how quickly they get out of control and how police are almost mandated to act and we certainly know very few of the facts other than no one was hurt. Plus this is a very personal matter, but its going to be hay for her those already waiting to dismiss her just because of her career. I hope she still runs though. Someone needs to be able to call out Vitter on his hypocrisy and she's the only one tough enough to do it so far.
Besides this ocurrence (which definitely doesn't help) the story about someone possibly putting a bomb in one of her volunteer's car is an even bigger deal and that should be a sign that maybe this isn't as good an idea as she thought thanks to the usual zealots.

There's a LOT of unanswered questions about that too. No one seems to know what happened or if this has been exaggerated. Not a good week for the campaign to say the least.
your wife must of made you write tht huh, anyway do i find it amusing that a man was beat up by a woman hell yes lol. Did i find it unfortunate that it was stormy and that it possibly ruined her run for the Senate hell yes. But if a person was truly serious about running for Senate beating up their spouse is not the way to go about it. I have all the respect in the world for stormy and what she has done for porn and iam a huge fan and will continue to be. And my perception in what is funny and what you find funny might be different so pull your head out of your ass and lighten up.
I agree Monstar. It amazes me how people are so free with the privacy of others, especially those in the public eye. If it were me in that situation, I know I wouldn't want to have to read comments about it from people who have no business putting into it. Therefore, as I stated in the Stormy Daniels update thread, I will only say that I wish the best for everyone involved and that I feel that comments on the personal lives of performers, etc has no place in a public forum unless it applies to the subject matter of that forum, and even then show some respect. Stormy can and will fuck your shit up. I'm not as much of a fan as you, but I do respect that she's a hard worker and has built something from nothing. She's a smart, ballsy woman in an industry filled with air-headed twats. I do not think of her as a dainty, wilting lil' thing. I'm getting the impression that you do. She's more than able to defend herself - in person and on forums. Her arrest record will affect that potential Senate run. She's made herself a public figure two times over. If you're worried about people dissecting your personal life, don't go into entertainment and, sure as hell, don't go into politics. Most everyone on the board has been amazingly reserved about discussing this. In fact, I don't think there was a mention of the incident until a couple of days after it surfaced and even then people were talking in code about it. I don't think you're gonna get the fan boy complacency you're searching for. She hit her husband. She acted out in anger and destroyed her personal property. I'm embarrassed for her. It's ridiculous behavior from someone who is contemplating a run for office.
Savoy, thanks for the response. I wasn't trying to rush to a damsel in distress's defense at all, although it does come off as that somewhat. I know that Ms. Daniels is more than capable of defending herself if she so desires, and she has done it on this forum many times over. My post was more of a lament of the lack of privacy for celebrities these days in all areas of entertainment. Whether it is who is dating who etc. I feel the media covers entertainament personalities too in depth and it takes away the mystique somewhat. Just my opinion. I too am surprised at the reservation at discussing this topic on the forum here. I thought it would be a field day. I agree that loss of privacy is a definite side effect of fame and many celebrities(in fact most) chased their fame and revel in the coverage. Just because it goes with the territory doesn't mean it SHOULD be that way though. Thankfully this topic has been off the radar so far on here for the most part and I feel that it doesn't have as much of a place being discussed here. An example of personal issues being discussed on here that is more fair game would be Janine's arrest for tax evasion. Normally, I'd say that was off topic too, but she used the arrest as a vehicle to return to performing which makes it a valid subject for discussion. Perhaps I'm guilty of a double standard there, and perhaps it is the Stormy Daniels fanboy in me talking. Still, thanks again for taking the time to respond and for giving me something to think about!! I know that personal issues like these will always be discussed nowadays, it is the society we live in. Still, nothing wrong with a little respect when doing so...that is what I was trying to convey, albeit poorly perhaps.
Agreed. The only reaction here should be sadness. Anyone who revels in this is an asshole who knows nothing about the reality of domestic incidents. Frankly any potential run for Senate (and Stormy is still far more qualified and worthy of holding higher office than David Vitter) takes a backseat to this very personal matter that has unfortunately been splashed for all to see. No, don't get me wrong. I've posted this several times in the past, Stormy didn't have a serious chance of winning, but she had a chance to move the debate in a way that spotlights Vitter's hypocrisy and the fact that he will legislate people's personal behavior while breaking the law himself and will deny women the chance to proper health and sex education while wearing a diaper with a hooker. Stormy has come across extremely well in her appearances, showing a grasp of the issues and how to communicate in an effective way. Of course she was never going to win, but she had a chance to make this a fun race. Plus yes I consider her more qualified than a religious zealot hypocrite who says 'Do as I say, don't do as I do.' Vitter is a personification of what is wrong with our culture and our politics. I hope she still runs. The one thing we don't know about this is all the facts.
Not having done IR will actually help her in the south. She herself said that she doesn't do IR because of the hate she will get and because she doesn't find black men attractive...smart move.
