As for banning me well just wanted to make that point you can ban this one as well as this will be my last post here, not angry i just find it strange that you can blanketly label people racist or homophobes here but you get banned for using an analogy to point out the hypocrisy of such things.

Bitching out the mods as being Nazis when you haven't really got an idea of what's gone on before in the forum isn't really a smart move either. A useful hint is when the mod says "leave it alone", you might want to leave it alone.

Whenever I respond to any post, I am responding to the post and not the poster himself/herself. These discussions ought not be taken personally, and I feel sorry for anyone who does take them as such.

And as for "the thread being shut down as people can't agree (or even agree to disagree on the topic)," well, that's just human beings. Human beings can hardly agree on anything. I'd be a fool to think that everyone is going to agree with anything I or anyone else has to say. However, even if we disagree, it is possible to do so cordially and respectfully, which is what I always try to do, without childishly attacking anyone personally. And as for not bothering to respond, if I am reading a post and I come across a comment or statement that is incorrect, and no other poster has addressed it, then I WILL respond to it, again, as tactfully and respectfully as I can. And I can see no reason why any moderator would feel the need to be so touchy on the issue especially when certain moderators have been known to contribute to such discussions themselves.

But anyway, that is all I will say in response to that. Since everyone, including myself, seems to want to stop seeing this matter made into the humongous deal that it isn't, I will get back to the topic by answering the question (which actually relates to the topic) that donut*king posed to me which I have not yet had the opportunity to answer (even though he has already said that he is never coming back here again).
