The best thing that works for me are sites where you can pause and the buffer keeps loading. My sweetspot is amateur castings...woodman, bcc...but they are really a struggle. Get a decent download manager and set stuff to download while you're doing something else. Yes, it takes a little planning effort, but it's a LOT more worthwhile, given that lots can go wrong while slowly-streamed files are getting buffered and you might well be losing your progress regularly. (Yes, downloads can get interrupted, too, but there are a lot more resume-friendly download servers than resume-friendly streams.)Edited by - shalalin on 3/31/2011 2:53:51 PM [Link] |
