| BlackSix All-Star Member pornography wasn't sex but fantasies of an impossibly hospitable world 12377 Posts 9/07 | Posted - Jul 25 2009 : 6:27AM I can think of a few that might fit: Bare Stage (2004) by David Stanley Fade to Black (2001) by Paul Thomas, although here its about a couple going into the 'adult industry' on purpose and their 'fall' Raw Talent, Sexcapades, Great Sexpectations and Skin Flicks all touch on this theme but more from a male porn actor or director's viewpoint predominant Her Name Was Lisa (1980) starts with the girl wanting to be a model but she ends up a hooker and junkie, a very dark and disturbing film Candy Goes to Hollywood (1979) really a parody of the cliche, a lot of fun Whatever Happened to Miss September (1973) is an interesting early porno with a pretty ambitious storyline for the early 70s Most of these are 70s and early 80s 'classics' and maybe a bit darker than what you are probably looking for, I'd suggest starting with Bare Stage and Candy Goes to Hollywood.
