No doubt been asked before, but is a bit of a pita that My Topics links to your last post in the thread instead of your last read post, or first unread post, just makes it a bit of a chore to find where you were up to every time you return to any thread, especially when not visiting regularly or lots of busy threads? We only keep track of last-read dates for a two week period. [Link]

Maybe I'll split the 'topics people have read' table into its own database and store them for a lot longer time period. The forum database currently stands at about 4.6GB. The table that keeps track of who has read what and when has a little over 680k rows in it at the moment. I'll look into increasing it to 2 or 3 months. [Link]

Click to expand Hey Drew, I must be doing something wrong, as half a dozen threads I recently posted in that have several replies after mine, and every one when I go to it goes to my last post not the last unread post? "If I've contributed to a thread it goes to MY last post. If I haven't it somehow knows which post I've read up to and goes to that point. In both cases, if I haven't looked at a thread for ages it usually goes to the top of page 1." So having a good look myself I discovered: In My Topics if I click a link it goes to MY last post.. But if I go to the Forum and click on a topic I have posted in (or read without posting) in it goes to my last unread post. Thinking about it it is kind of cool to have both in My Topics at first to see my last post for recent replies and later then last unread post if been a while, and unsure which is preferable actually, or is it too much to be able to do both from My Topics somehow?
