Does anyone have any sites that are regularly posting new content, or has the industry slowed down or wtf is going on? Anyone got feedback to give? [Link] |

Because this will attract other people into the porn business and motivate them to produce good porn movies too. A lot of publishers and distributors of porn are getting paid. But the amount of money trickling down to performers and producers isn't as much as it can be. And that's why people aren't making as much porn now as they did in the past. The porn-making business model is now broken because of porn piracy and inadequate pay for porn performers and producers. Porn-fans need to find a way to pay directly to their favorite porn stars and film directors, so that they will make more of the kind of movies porn-fans want to see. Perhaps if porn stars set up accounts for people to make anonymous donations, then porn fans can contribute directly to supporting their favorite porn stars and encouraging them to produce more porn movies. Wikipedia, for example, is able to stay afloat on donations from people. Perhaps this funding model will work for porn too. If you cut out the middle-men, and donate directly to porn-stars, then it wouldn't take much money to pay them well, well enough to encourage the best of them to make the kind of movies porn-fans want to see. Movie making technology is relatively cheap and easy to get now. The only stumbling block is paying the porn-stars for their work. And it's not the lack of money that's the problem. It's the lack of a good payment mechanism to pay to people who are actually putting their ass on the line to produce good porn movies. |

Still, very few people are using electronic currency. But this is not the only way for the girls to make money. (Of course, many don't want to do cam shows, dance in strip clubs, sell their used lingerie, make private videos, or escort, but performing in porn is a good way to market yourself in the sex industry at large.) But the camera guy isn't going to be able to sell his dirty underwear. Heck, Goodwill won't even let him give it away. |
