LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Sunny Lane has announced that she has become engaged to be married and is taking a hiatus from shooting to concentrate on her new relationship and upcoming marriage.

"I want to announce to my fans, website members and media that I have been blessed to find love am thrilled to be engaged," Lane said.

Lane just played the lead role in Exquisite Film's “BatGirl” parody. She also has recently starred in "The Flying Pink Pig" and "Alice."

Lane also costars in Erica McLean’s newest release “Erica McLean’s Erotic Soloist.” She also can be seen in the mainstream comedy “Mommy & Me” and in the upcoming release "Guido."

I don't like when people say what porn stars are relevant and which ones are not. Every pornstar has a fanbase, and Sunny is no exception. I was never that big of a Sunny Lane fan, but she has my respect. All these press releases overhype the subject, be it a performer, or an agency, or a studio. They all make enormous claims that they can't live up to.

BTW, "Bloodlust Zombies" is far from a "mainstream" crossover. I never understand the constant misuse of the term "mainstream" in pornoland. It seems like anything a pornstar does that doesn't include sex is "mainstream". I am happy that Alexis is doing some straight acting, but it's a B-zombie flick that very few people will even see.
Same thing with "Half Moon"; it's cool to see Tori in a straight acting role, but nowhere near mainstream.

Gotta start somewhere. Her porn experience only gets her in the door and lots of time the only reason porn girls are hired for a non porn film is because they'll get naked for the scene without a lot of drama as to whether the shower scene is actually necessary to the plot. Look at it this way, Tom Hanks started out in Bosom Buddies wearing a dress and makeup.

For all those taking shots saying sunny is not relevant at least have the stones to say,'she's not relevant to me.' Pretty weak to presume that just because someone isn't relevant to YOU that they aren't relevant at all.
BTW, Sunny is relevant to me. I'm quite the fan and have to say on the two occasions that I met her in person she was more than giving of her time and graciousness. Easily one of the top couple stars I've met in person in the way she treats her fans. The fact that she's one of the few with a booty to rival Nina Hartley in her heyday doesn't hurt. Good for Sunny, she's earned happiness. Bummed it looks like new Sunny Lane scenes may not be forthcoming.

Congratulations to Sunny! She's always seemed happy and I wish her all the more!
