I don't pay for DVDs any more. I don't consider them to offer value for money. I prefer to pay for website subscriptions.

Some still make very good stuff, don't drag them all down, please. You just have too seek them out: Carwash Orgy # 4 from Zero Tolerance and Oil Overload #11 won't stand back for nothing from the past, that was winners back and forth. I really enjoyed the last two Orgy Masters & Manuel Ferrara Reverse Gang Bang too, and also Le Wood's Sweet New Pussy (I don't care too much about their anal stuff), Pat Myne's Cuties # 7 (proves his class as a director), Third Degree/ZT's Staying In # 2 (so that I had to review it), My Young Girl Obsession # 2 (so that I consider to review it, maybe I will, at least I quickly ordered the latest volume featuring the brave new Halle Von), King James (just so fucking cool with so natural behaving girls that I wouldn't be surprised if Mr Deen had taken a bite like that south american soccer star in the World Cup, these chicks must have tasted better, and Deen wasn't far from going wild here, and no I'm up for checking out the Lucky Bastard Mr. Blue and what he's capable of in some equal setting), Gym Rats Orgy # 3 really turned out to be a classic in my POV, you just can't ask for more, well maybe some BTS, Baseball Orgy (though it had some small camera-speed-issues) + Lexington Steele's Black Panther # 3 & Lex Poles Little Holes #2 (that both just were so cool). I also dig In the VIP from time to time, these are stuff that wasn't done back in the heyday of DVDs, it's much better that stumbling down at some disco, seeing no one, or maybe ending thrown out or thrown in, believe me. You just have to bring in some booze. And J-Mac has gotta do at least two of the scenes. He's more underrated than most over here. So now I'm gonna go over to the Empire Store and find one of these. That is stuff you just gotta go over to the DVDs to get into, just like orgies.
^ Don't you think in that statement, you're making a (misguided) assumption that we have the same preferences? AFAIK, most if not all of those titles you mentioned are available on VOD, which is usually much less expensive than a DVD. The quality is perfectly satisfactory for me hence why I don't consider DVDs to offer value for money.
I still like porn DVDs and buy them but I've made the decision to buy less of them. Streaming is overall cheaper and convienant for me and it's less DVDs I have to deal with finding room for. The biggest obstacle that held me back from streaming for years was being able to watch the straems on my tv. Sine I bought a ROKU a few years ago and more sites supporting the ROKU platform things have been great. I'm discovering great performers and studios I would've never tried or knew about before. I think if it weren't for piracy streaming would be porn's biggest income stream. Being able to get movies instantly without going to a porn store (if you're near one) or dealing with ordering online is great. For me personally, right now there aren't nearing as many pornstars still shooting that I like as there was a few years ago so it's harder for me to justify buying recent DVDs to see one or maybe two girls I like. That's always been a problem with me but even moreso now. I still buy DVDs but not as many but I still pay for much of the stuff I watch. I think encouraging people to pay for their porn is probably more important than just limiting it to DVDs. The times are changing and DVDs are only one of the ways people watch porn.
^ I agree, as long as it's paid for format don't matter. I love DVDs but, as others have said, when it comes to them versus downloads (I don't stream, personally) it's a no-brainer. I have over 3000 DVDs and you wouldn't believe the space they take up, even without cases. Unfortunately for me, I only discovered downloading and external hard drives quite late on, by which time I'd already spent a small fortune on DVDs. I'll still buy DVDs in sales or if there's a title I absolutely, positively have to have that isn't available for download.
This is a little off-topic but Airerose hasn't updated their website for over three weeks. Not are there any upcoming updates. Does anyone have any information regarding this?
