(Of course, the line between porn stars and escorts get more indistinct by the day. These days, it's a lot easier to ask which porn stars don't escort than it is to identify ones who do.) You would think that the number of women who would do the same -- or, hell, tamer -- things behind closed doors with a much lower degree of visibility and a much higher degree of deniability would be at least as great. Add in the number of women who haven't considered it but who might with the right prodding, and you would think it's even higher. And then thrown in the women who, for various reasons, would do such things on a much more restricted basis, and the number should be higher still. That just doesn't seem to be the case. As for STDs, it's also been speculated by people in and out of the biz that the majority of performers get infected with a STD at some point in their career from working in sexvids.
