Am I the only person who is totally turned off by male porn stars using their own saliva for that all-too-frequently-needed lubrication, usually done in awkward ways with very bad timing? For me there's nothing worse than some dork who decides to lick his own palm with a healthy dose of spit then slather it all over himself just to get things slippery enough to get through the scene.

These people are paid very well -- not only the actors but also the director, producers etc. Why not get something done off-camera to facilitate the successful completion of the act? I realize that lubrication is a necessary evil in the business but give me a break!

OK, got that off my chest. It just bugs me to shit and I wanted to hear what anyone else has to say about it.
