^OMG, another Mike fan just like me who appreciates his pairing abilities on this forum! I'm impressed.
I don't know why he doesn't get discussed more often here. He's been directing in this industry for such a long time, and I genuinely feel he deserves a lot more appreciation!

It wasn't so long ago that he stated he was leaving ADT, he got tired and frustrated by what he perceived as gripes by the faux-experts and criticisms from the pseudo-knowledgeable . How times change that he's being rightly singled out as an outstanding director who's been at it longer that I've been watching/aware of porn.
The reason Mike isn't getting much recognition is clearly explained in this article. However, in my opinion, he is passionate about GG productions, but his movies lack novelty overall. Something fresh and out of the box is needed every time to gain greater recognition.

There's a key factor that you avoid mentioning which is going to become the second biggest threat facing studio porn and that is a rebellion of talent. I read a post on Cami Strella's Substack about the issue facing studio porn that is as devastating as piracy which is a growing number of performers choosing to build their own websites to market their own scenes so they don't have to give any studio 50% of their revenue. If enough performers start realizing that they can take 100% of their profits by removing studios from the equation, studios like SHV among others are going to find themselves begging content creators to give them a chance to work with them. Don't get me wrong, studio porn is not going to die out overnight but according to Cami: crews that used to get 20 scenes a month are now lucky if they get five, with 922 performers and counting - that's a quiet kiss of death to studio porn. Add the reduced budgets and you understand that studios like SHV have to either change their business model or run the risk of becoming obsolete. With technology improving in leaps and bounds, it's not a stretch to imagine a day where a handful of performers can create a scene they want to do with the high production value of say VMG or a SHV production run by Ricky Greenwood but with a fraction of the crew usually needed to pull off such a feat.
I really need people to stop pontificating about things of which they have no knowledge. One huge company in Europe bought a big company in Canada and decided they didn't like how it was being run so they fired everyone and kept just enough people to provide a skeleton of updates until the decide what their next course of action is. That's it. Period. Unfortunate for those who worked there? Yes. The imminent death of studio porn? No. Studio porn has been fighting an uphill battle since the dawn of Pirate Bay and pornhub and yet it survives. Most content creators recognize that there can be synergy between studios and OF. Particularly bitter ones will always proclaim the death of studio porn but even superstars like Angela White and Cherie Deville still have contractual agreements with Brazzers/Aylo, which, last time I checked, is a studio. Will studio porn always exist, especially with emerging A.I technology - YES. They will simply replace the real performers with A.I characters and the next generation of porn fan won't know the difference or won't care. Hope this helps.
Instead of talking about the last three hot scenes from Mike Quasar’s latest movie on Sweetheart Video, the upcoming scene featuring Freya Parker and Chloe Foxxe that I’m desperately waiting for next week, his other productions on different forums, the After Hour movie, and the three good, hot scenes from My Son’s Fiancée, we’re discussing AI, the death of studios, and this and that, even when we don’t have all the facts or sufficient evidence. Oh, just wow!
The same thing is happening on the Girlfriend Films thread.
All these websites have seen their ups and downs, with both good and bad times. But it’s simply amazing how we keep appreciating what was good in the past and debating what the future holds, while barely anyone talks about the good things happening right now.
The most important thing I’ve realised is that you can’t make everyone happy. But some people, like me, can still find happiness even in the darkest of times.
Anyway, thanks again, Mike Quasar! At least I know I’ll keep supporting your work until my last breath.
You’re giving me fun movies featuring hot performers to enjoy in this stressful life, and honestly, sometimes that’s exactly the entertainment we need!
That's exactly what we should be talking about, but there is some users who are obsessed with the end of porn that they can't stop talking about it. To this point is so annoying that even Mike Quasar has to intervene. Really pathetic.
