I haven't swung but my significant other has brought it up on a number of occasions. I don't think I'm up to it. I wouldn't mind watching another couple while they were watching us (in fact it turns me on), but partner swapping doesn't appeal to me especially because of issues of jealousy and disease.

Well, to each his own ~ but it's not something I can see myself ever getting into. I think it's nature's way of saying it's time to get a divorce already.
Call me sexually repressed, but when I've been in love with a man, the thought of him having sex with someone else was not high on my list of turn-ons. The actual SIGHT of him having sex would be somewhat further down on that list. I've never really understood how this works, for folks in the porn biz as well. I guess I'm just too jealous and uptight to get over that hump.

as DB said, to each their own. but for me i'm either a swinging single or i'm in a relationship. i wouldn't be in a relationship if i didn't want to be with that person, and only that person, for as long as i can foresee.

I have a male friend (platonic only) who's a hound for this kind of stuff, and he's told me some pretty wild stories. He's married, but his wife won't go to swing clubs with him, so he takes his girlfriend.
He's a cutie, and funnier than hell, I just wouldn't want to be married to him, he's such a pussy hound. One time his wife locked him out of their house, he didn't even have his wallet, so he came and borrowed $100. from me. The next day, he paid me back and told how he spent the evening at this hotel in the bay area that caters to swingers only - I think the name was The Edgewater - where single guys were welcome. Apparently, most of the private parties are couples only.
I believe that he also holds the distinction of being the only one ever thrown OUT of the Betty Ford Clinic, and re-routed to a group for sex addicts, after getting caught doing the nasty with another patient the second day he was there, lol.
The 12-step sex addict group proved to be a veritable candy store for him, btw.
