I want to take a screen shot of the display that is showing video but every time I use "print screen" I get my main monitor showing up just fine and a black field for my second screen. I realize I can use a video player to capture screen shots of a movie, that is not what I am trying to do. I also realize a solution for taking screen shots of what is on the second display could be achieved by moving the content to the main display. I am wondering if any of you folks have any insight as to why "print screen" is not working? Main monitor is 160 hex 1200 and the second one is 128 hex 1024. EDIT: I am not sure if how clear I made this: When I hit "print screen" then go to paste the result in Paint my main screen shows up but where my desktop ought to be stretched onto the secondary monitor I get black. Certain games will no longer play on the main monitor at all once I have used them with the secondary one once. I thought it was a resolution issue but when I disabled the secondary they all run fine in the primary. I'll let you know. |
