I'm having a Talon moment ever since I saw his blistering scene with Briana in "Dark Side of Briana" . When I go to iafd, it seems the guy is doing a lot of gonzo, which I try to avoid since the genre is not reputed for focusing on the guys' bodies. Anybody has recommendations for scenes where the male cutie gets a lot of camera time ? How is his scene in "Art School Sluts" ?

The word is he did a bunch of gay scenes before he crossed over and started fucking girls. And there's a bunch of straight producer/directors that refuse to hire him because of the gay work he did.
I don't know if he used the name Talon in the gay stuff, but I'm sure with a little research you can discover some of the gay titles he starred in. Happy hunting.
I knew about the gay work, but if he's gay for pay, I'd much rather see his straight stuff. No use in tracking down gay scenes he didn't enjoy. Jewel, thx for the tip. Apparently, he works regularly for Baby Doll. Anybody seen those ?
Geez, how long does a gay porn past haunt these guys??? It's been more than 10 years since he appeared as Lex Baldwin, and every gay porn appearance was in a safe sex scene. He didn't do much but stand there anyway. Other than getting a blow job, all his other scenes were rumored to be stunted.
He's good eye candy, but I never found him to be that compelling to watch. If he's in the scene, I'll watch him, but I don't go out of my way to rent his stuff.

Who says he didn't enjoy those scenes? And, speaking personally, I've never seen a gay for pay male performer. And it's not just me, I had a conversation at the Venetian circle bar just last month with a few adult directors, and this subject came up. We all agreed that from our experience we've never seen a male performer who's gay for pay. If they're willing to work with a guy they're either bi or gay.
I'm sure if Talon was either getting it from a guy, or giving it to a guy, he was having a good time doing it.

In the case of Peter North/Matt Ramsey, he's been "haunted" by this for over 20 years.
The number one nightmare of any director/producer is that talent will contract HIV on your set. So we do think twice, or more than twice, about hiring a male actor who's done gay work in the past.
For me the logic is simple, if he's done gay in the past, the guy is gay or bi. Which means that he may only have done girls for the past 10 years on film, but who knows what he's doing in his personal time? Last night he could've been banging a couple of porn starlets, or taking it in the ass in a West Hollywood glory hole. It's a big risk to take.
mayor of chatsworth, that is such a half true statement...are you seriously telling me that you are more worried about what the MALE talent is doing the night before, rather than the FEMALE talent? really?
and who cares if the guy is gay, bi, straight, asexual? the girls are usually bi or gay as well. whats the difference?
i love the people think most porn people are going out and fucking all kinds of chicks/dudes whatever the night before a scene. i would bet that most guys the night before a scene dont have sex at all.
the number one nightmare on a set isnt the hiv scare. its whether the girl shows up, whether she looks good, whether her test is good.......out of the millions of scenes produced over the years, HIV has shown up how many times? like 5 maybe?
so if a director is really worried about a male talent's past, then he is obviously not a very good director. and you can quote me on that.
i love it when porn people get moral. nice. nothing like a double standard.

I'm not a moralist, I'm a pragmatist. And I don't care what sexual orientation a guy has, unless I'm considering hiring him as male talent. You seem to think I have something against gay men. I don't. And on re-reading my last two posts, I can't find that I wrote anything derogatory about gay or bi men. What does seem obvious to me is that your ablility to parse and comprehend simple sentences is extremely limited.
And HIV is the number one nightmare, probably because it is so rare. Girls fail to show up all the time. We're used to it, and often make contingency plans if we're using a girl that's known to be flaky. Are you seriously telling me that someone not showing up for a scene would scare you more than someone catching a life-threatening, incurable disease on your set? I can't believe you're in the biz, even though you imply it.
I think that what cwians objects to is your implication that gay men are more likely to contract HIV/AIDS than female performers, a view not necessarily supported by facts and dangerously reminiscent of old fashioned stereotypes of HIV as a "gay disease".

Sorry to be the voice of reality here, but gay men are more likely to contract HIV than are heterosexual (and homosexual) females (see below). And that's because of general patterns of behavior, not because God (and conservatives, etc.) hate gays.
And your statements are dangerously reminiscent of blind political correctness if the face of scientifically accrued knowledge. I will particularly take issue with your statement, "...is that gay men are more likely to contract HIV/AIDS than female performers, a view not necessarily supported by facts...".
Take a look at this: http://www.avert.org/usastatg.htm. These statistics show at least a five to one higher risk for all gay males versus hetero- (and presumably homo-) sexual females for contracting HIV. That's a big difference. Are you willing to take that kind of risk just to be politically correct?
I'm not willing to take that risk, and that's all I was trying to say.
"The biggest component in the rapid rise in the numbers of new HIV diagnoses has been in heterosexually acquired infections. Since 1999 the number of new HIV diagnoses in heterosexual men and women have outnumbered those in homosexual and bisexual men.
The 3,801 new HIV infections diagnosed in 2003 that were heterosexually acquired is an increase of more than four times the number in 1996, when less than 900 such infections were diagnosed annually."
Though I of course appreciate that this data relates to the UK population as a whole, and patterns of behaviour amongst porn professionals in particular might arguably skew the data in a variety of ways.
how about I dont hire gay males cause there may be issues with no heat in the scene. I think that is valid, plus a lot of gals refuse to work with guys who have done gay porn.
If you want talon recomendations avoid anything where he is paired with a feminine "curvy" girl. The only scenes I have seen him enjoy are ones with Melissa Laurens body type.

Ladies, there is no chance of catching anything from a gay/bi man if he has a clean bill of health and/or uses protection in his scenes. Absolutely none. I'd say you have more to worry about if you do a scene with a woman who's had sex with countless straight men who don't have a clean bill of health. Herpes, syphilis....
So, rest assured, you can't catch anything from a gay/bi man with a clean bill of health.

Why are you quoting me statistics from the UK, when I'm in the US? By that logic, stats from countries like Uganda, Zimbabwe, and South Africa are just as valid to argue these points back and forth.

Cwians,
I like your movies, think you have a great body, and you stay hard all the time. Have you done anything more recently that might be coming out soon?
Simply because I am British and writing from the UK, but also because the information on the website that you referred to purports to cover "the USA and the UK", yet the official statistics I have just quoted you directly contradict that information.
But hey, as they say, 87% of people know that statistics can be used to prove anything. C'est la vie.
I was asking for Talon recommendations, not a gay debate. I just think he's cool eye candy. And I don't think Peter North has been "haunted" by his gay past for the last 20 years. If someone has been working steadily in the straight industry for those last 20 years, that's definitely Pete. Most fans consider him as straight, or at least don't give a fuck about what he did for money when he was young. Only a minority seem to hang on to this particular issue.
I know you mentioned you don't like him in gonzo, but he has worked a bit for Bryan Xin. You can find him in a super hot scene with Roxy in ANAL4, and I believe that he was also in Truly Nice Ass 7 with Renee Pornero. Hope this helps.
Thx for the recommendations. Talon, Lee Stone & Mick Blue sound very good and I can handle the choking that's mentioned in the CAVR review of "ANAL 4". The main problem is have with gonzo is that there's usually no focus on the male body, and I dislike its bare aesthetics (a sofa and a lot of white all around). I usually prefer vignettes with a bit of set-up and props. And the couples approach guarantees that I'll have a shot at those thrusting steel buns and sweaty pecs.
ps : Kami, I read in an online interview that you've had issues with Talon in the past, kudos to you for putting those issues aside for this thread. That's a very classy thing to do.
Oh hell yeah, it was. I was there for the shoot, and let me tell you, they had some serious chemistry going on. Before the shoot he gave Roxy a massage, and when the camera stopped rolling they would continue fucking. I have to say that I was feeling some twinges down south myself when I was watching the scene being shot.
And VT, the choking in ANAL4 wasn't the kind of choking where you feel like the girl will pass out or have her windpipe broken any moment. It was more sexual and definitely enjoyed by the girls in the scenes.

Yes, let's completely disregard statistics. As Disreaeli said, "There are lies, damn lies, and statistics."
Actually I was wondering if Talon has done any features? I got to see what he looks like, and now I really want to see him in action, but I'm not a fan of gonzo (does nothing for me).
Also, I really do not understand if someone was actually gay, why they would do straight porn. Isn't the pay for males in gay porn a great deal more than straight porn? I am pretty sure that's the reason you get a lot of straight guys going over to gay porn. And you probably wouldn't hire a gay guy for a straight film because I'm guessing he wouldn't perform very well. I remember hearing about how long Casey Donovan's scene in The Opening in Misty Beethoven took to shoot, and right there I could understand why wouldn't want to.
Also, with the AIDS thing. If they guy has done gay porn in recent years than he was required to wear a condom, unless he did a bareback vid. If he has done a bareback vid, then the he will become a pariah in the gay industry. A good number of companies will not hire guys who have done bareback vids. Pretty much all the major studios are condom only, unlike straight porn. If he is having uprotected sex, gay or straight, in his private life, then you are taking a risk with him contracting an STD either way. The AIDS risk also increases if he is using needle drugs in his private life.
The same goes for the girls. If they are having unprotected sex in their private lives then they are still at risk. If it isn't AIDS then it's some other STD.
Yes, AIDS is a nightmare, but the thing is, if everyone is playing it safe (getting tested, being responsible, ect.) then you shouldn't have to worry. If you go out and have unprotected, annymous sex, man or woman, straight or gay, then you are putting yourself at a risk, and you are putting everyone you work with at a risk. It's that simple. And not all gay men go out and get their asses reamed at a glory hole.
Bumpety bump for the discussions of Lex Baldwin AKA Talon that have been closed in other threads. It seems to be common knowledge if google searching that they are one and the same, and the pics make it clear.
Talon's gay nom de plume is 'Lex Baldwin'. As for people refusing to hire him now, its due to speculation that his off-set sex life involves men. For example, Hillary Scott recently revealed that her HIV positive male former assistant gave Talon a blow job. Infection by that manner is low, but considering his occupation, its something he should avoid.

Girls get anal creampies and blowbangs and swallow-my-spunk whatsits, then go straight to another condomless set the day after that and nobody gives a flying worry and one guy alledegedly gets a blow-job from another guy and suddenly it's Philadelphia. Two threads on the same topic have already been closed, that could be the 1st of my threads that's locked, I'm very excited.
That'd be a valid comparison if the alleged guy in this equation weren't HIV positive. I'm sure if a girl did "anal creampies and blowbangs and swallow-my-spunk whatsits" with infected individuals and then went to a condomless set the next day, the uproar would be the same.
Alleged is a word you left out. Does libel apply on the ADT forums?

i know what libel is, honeybunny. i never said he had a disease. someone in the position to know said he exposed himself to one and i'm fucking horrified. i don't practice it. find major fault with anything i've ever posted here and i'll clean your toenails with my tongue. if you don't, thanks for potentially spreading disease.
Only if someone makes him. I am not even a fan of Talon, have never watched him perform. Like I said fair is fair. Hillary Scott started spreading the rumors-she should be confronted head on.

cool. i just don't have any desire to see someone get sick. it's up, nobody's made him take it down over 24 hours later.
It could happen anytime. Girls can be in two different gonzo sets in one day and on another the following day, each time unprotected. How frequently do they test ? Every two weeks ? The only way to make sure you do not have sex with an infected individual, whether straight or gay, is to wear a condom, which does not happen because "consumers vote with their wallets".
If Talon has unprotected oral or anal sex with an HIV positive person and then jumps on a non-condom set the next day, that is indeed irresponsible, but the rest of this industry is just as irresponsible as he is. Honestly, I'm furious not because of this story, whether it is true or not, it goes beyond. All these guys that started in the gay side of the industry, they're stigmatized for the rest of their career. Every time there's a thread about Peter North, there's an asshole breaking news that he did 2 gay movies in 1935 under the pseudonym Matt Ramsey. Julian was on Wankus'show recently and all he could ask him about was these 2 movies he did one thousand years ago. Everytime somebody mentions Kurt Lockwood, there's a strap-on joke waiting to happen. I ask for Talon recommendations and 3 answers down the line, newsbreak, Lex Baldwin ! Does anybody question the sex lives of girls in this industry ? Because they never give blow-jobs to unknowns on the side, of course.
These guys are scrutinized because they've had a gay past and GAY = AIDS, as brilliantly demonstrated earlier in this thread. Well, no, unprotected sex = AIDS and everybody who doesn't wear a condom should feel concerned, which is 100% of this industry, and not only former gay performers. Talon was ostracized way before this story and I remember a story (another one) of a contract girl on a JKP set refusing to have sex with him because he used to do gay videos. He had tested like everybody else and the scene was condom-only. But are you kidding ? He used to do guys ! He MUST have AIDS ! And if I take it personally, a decade of hearing that AIDS is a gay disease will do this to a gay man. You may not hear this in Talon's story but that's all I can hear. If he did what Hillary said he did, yes he should be quarantined until his next test and maybe beyond, but there's much more to this story than a potential HIV crisis and that's called ignorance.

gay doesn't mean you have aids. far from it. their industry uses protection to my knowledge.
the issue at hand is whether talon got head from someone absolutely infected.
i happily watch julian scenes. my wife thinks he's beautiful, he doesn't talk so he's a personal favorite. should i learn he recieved oral sex from an hiv+ person, girl or boy, it wouldn't be that way.
I haven't said anything of the sort nor I do I believe gay = AIDS to be true.
I was only pointing out that if a girl KNOWINGLY had sexual contact with someone who was KNOWN to have HIV then it would be a fair comparison. Having unprotected sex, even with AIM tests every two weeks, is indeed still risky and irresponsible but not half as irresponsible as taking head from someone you KNOW to be infected and then having unprotected sex with others afterwards. Trying to compare the everyday goings on of the performers in this business and what Talon allegedly did is ludicrous.
In fact, this is the last I'm saying about the subject because it was never my intention to get into some sort of argument about the situation. What I brought to the discussion was obviously already very well known and my thread is closed/locked. I have nothing more to add.

Let it be found on it's own, if you don't want to read about it, but instead cry about...here's an idea, IGNORE it!
VT, it has nothing to do with him being gay. It has to do with him allegedly having a sexual encounter with an HIV positive person. I don't give a fat rat's ass if that HIV+ person is a male or female. That's irrelevant.
My ex assistant CLAIMED to have blown him over a year ago. It wasn't until very recently that he tested positive AND he knows when he was exposed to the virus.....which was LONG after the supposed incident occurred.
Who knows if he even did blow him? That's just what he told me. It's of course considered gossip because I wasn't present during the alleged homo loving.
ALSO, AIM's HIV testing is the most advanced screening that exists because it can detect the virus within 2 WEEKS of exposure!! Talon works often and tests every 30 days just like all of us. SO, there is no need for him to be quarantined for fucks sake.
These types of concerns are for us performers to deal with, not for you guys to discuss on the internet!! In the future, realize that lukeisback.com, adultfyi.com etc are GOSSIP websites and "serious" stories like this are TYPICALLY exaggerated or taken out of context (such as this one).
