If Derek has such a bad reputation, why do girls keep signing with him? Why not go to Goldstar, Speigler, Lisa Ann, or one of the others?
I have no idea. Taryn just writes about stopping payment on the check that she got. It does seem silly not to get paid after yelling and pulling shenanigans and such. Your speculating makes sense to me. I like the way you speculate. ;)
I know the guy is your friend Christian so you will stick up for him whether he is right or wrong in any matter. I have never met the guy but from what I have been told my opinion of the guy isn't much. I agree with you everything a girl says about their ex agent you cant believe but when 5 or so girls tell you the same thing I tend to believe there is some truth to it.

If you look girls who have been performers and leave the industry for awhile and now returning for the most part are not going with him. Krystal Steal went with Shy Love's agency while Devon, Jessica Jaymes, and Kendall Brooks all signed with Goldsatar to name a few. That tells me girls who have experience within the industry are stearing clear of his agency. But I will give the guy credit he is the best at bringing in new girls
I don't know if you can call it "pulling off" and actually no, it happens all the time. "Pulling off" you can say when somebody just sticks around and stays focused and without getting involved in stupid shit at all. I don't know if that was a good example skronk... This is a hard business and sometimes you just have to swallow your pride and suck it up. If I had a contract for 2 more years I would smile straight into my agents face and do as I am told OR just take a time out, keep my mouth shut and come back after the contract is over but I would never give anybody the feeling that they got to me. I would just say: "hey, I'm dancing now and I want to take a break from porn". You can always lock yourself in your place, stay in bed a few days, cry and get over it. I'm not trying to be a smart ass just my two cents of what I personally would do if I was in the same situation.

I can only assume the other reason why he thinks it's funny is because with the exception of Kendall Brooks and her success with NA, hardly Devon or Jessica Jaymes have had any real work. I mean honestly, when was the last time anybody went nuts over a new Devon movie? Wasn't that Devon: Erotique all the way back in '04? And Jessica Jaymes too, I seriously thought she'd be huge by now.
I'm referencing Jayna as an example based purely on a fan's perspective of someone who was in, then out, then in, then out, regardless of the circumstances involved, and appeared to have sustained her popularity as far as bookings go .. I know there are plenty of girls who take short breaks and come back in with a different look or attitude, but they usually aren;t out of the loop for more than a year ... right?
