During her Vivid days Tawny seemed to do anal in every movie, including "Sextet" where she (at least) did stills of anal sex in every b/g scene (but because of shitty editing of the sexvid, the anal with euro-stud Lauro Giotlo was cut--making the "all anal" claim on the boxcover a lie). Her last Vivid b/g sexvid to be release was this year's "Emperor" in which she did anal with Rocco Siffredi...for which they are nominated for Best Anal.

Tawny also did g/g anal in a number of scenes, including with Jenna Jameson in "Last Girl Standing" for which they were nominated for AVNs last year, but lost. She may have also done g/g anal in the soon-to-be released "Where the Boys Aren't 18". Given her track record, the odds are excellent that she did.

Her first on-screen anal, which is one of my favs is in "Real Sex" and was before she got her boob job, or first contract with VCA. Her slim body was nicely toned, and not too skinny--and she resembled current Vivid Girl Monique Alexander, who, by the way, has just started doing anal as part of her contract.

Finally, on her website, Tawny also did lots of members-only scenes that included anal.

Like I said, during the second year of her contract with Vivid Tawny was their in-house Anal Queen: there are far MORE scenes in which she did do anal than those in which she did not.

After five years, an ugly break-up with Rick Patrick, and an even uglier partying period (chronicled on the porn gossip sites) Tawny seems to now be in full or semi-retirement, with a new (supposedly wealthy) boyfriend. So for now she appears to be giving her small asshole a well-deserved rest. She also appears to be part-owner and/or spokesperson for a few non-hardcore companies: Ecstasy Mobile, "Are You Hotter," and Tactical LLC. I wish her good luck and much success in the future.

Much of it has to do with Tawny never reaching a "comfort level" on set, which would allow her to "let go" and enjoy herself. She doesn't seem to be into extreme sex (she did only one b/g/b scene in her career)so her discomfort is understandable. Besides this, IMO, Tawny is another Krystal Steal, meaning a very hot looking, fun-loving young girl who doesn't have the emotional/mental toughness to live the porn girl lifestyle of fucking strange men day in & day out, and not letting it effect her.

This happens to a lot of girls, which is why the revolving door of porn is always turning.

Rich & Jesse seem to have it together, and hopefully Tawny's current relationship brings her happiness & peace of mind she deserves. I don't know if there's a lesson to be gained from their break-up story, but it may be: don't let business (especaially porn) come before/dominate your personal life.

What I've been saying is I don't think the industry and Tawny was a good fit. The industry in the early 1990s may have been a better fit for her. In those days it was more about erotic (Andrew Blake) sex, not the extreme sex. I don't think more of the harder type of porn (like "Myne Tease 2") would have done anything for Tawny...except mess even more with her head.

Regarding Nikki Tyler, I do see similarities between Nikki, Tawny & Krystal Steal (and others I could name) in that they seem to be "conflicted" about careers in porn. For example in Jenna Jameson's book she says that Nikki, who was Jenna's roommate at the time, was very angry with her when Jenna got into porn! Nikki didn't like porn, and felt it was bad, and would harm Jenna. Not the views of someone who should be in the industry...which Nikki (and Krystal? Tawny?) got into, later, only for the money.

Again, I feel very strongly that unless a girl can accept (emotionally & mentally) the harsh realities of the porn life (rough/painful sex, lost of most personal relationships, constant pressure by fans/directors to go more extreme) that she shouldn't be in the business. Otherwise what you have is a "train wreck"--and I won't support an industry that continues to create these wrecks.
