According to the website for the Alan Colmes Radio Show (he's a NYC political talkshow jock) on today's show Tawny Roberts announced that she's ending her retirement and returning to performing. I didn't hear the show (I'm on the wrong Coast), but Tawny's website has been hawking her appearance on today's show all week. It'll be interesting to see what she does. And, what she looks like now, since she just had a baby nine months ago. IMO, there was always a question if Tawny was "strong" enough for the biz. She seemed to need "help" getting through her scenes, so it'll be interesting to see if she's changed. Question is: will she go back to Vivid, sign with some other company (probably NOT Digital Playground), or if she'll try again to start her own company, with a distribution deal with one of the major companies. With Jenna Jameson retired, there's a shortage of a "Glam Blonde". What do you think? Luke Ford will be happy. Now he'll have her to write about again. Edited by - Derek117 on Sep 14 2007
Yeah...so it's just the internet and her website. Therefore this is NOT a comeback! She says she will NOT do more videos. Her rationale for reactiving her website is to take control of her "image" back from people who are re-packaging old scenes and making money off of it. Edited by - Derek117 on 9/14/2007 11:22:33 PM

Her advice to girls thinking of entering the industry was "Dont"
This seems to be her "breaking away" from the biz, so going on a liberal radio talk show makes since--and is less vindictive than going on a right wing, moralist show. Interesting, though, that the ad on the show's website made it sound like she was returning to the biz. Fooled me.
Yep...the biz is going through major changes. The traditional porn production company business model is dying fast. Performers are using other means (mostly personal websites) to connect directly with their fans.
Totally retired. Her MySpace page has been inactive for over a year, and her website is run by some company using old photos and no new content. She doesn't come to adult events, or feature dance, or keep in touch with industry people from what I know. At almost 30 years old, Tawny is in the next phase of her life. I wish her well.
Wow! Now there is blast from the past. You have to wonder why at 40 she decided to make a comeback. Tawny was a little before my time but from her earlier photos was a real looker. it appears she had bolt-ons back then and looks like she has had some more, we'll just say "work done".
As much as I am curious to see what a 40 years old Tawny might be interested in doing porn wise. The industry she left 15 years ago is not remotely close to the one she might make a comeback in and I think she knows it and while she may do the odd video. I think this entire thing is mostly her trying to put her name back on people's radar. I doubt we see more than a couple of videos for a Mindgeek property and then she goes the cam or "OF" route and we don't hear from her again.
