I've seen it before for shorter retirements for less popular performers (Nicole Aniston signed a year-long contract with Naughty America and she was only retired for like 2 years at the time). As for why they'd do it, the answer is, as it always is, traffic. I mean, why'd they sign Nikki Benz to an exclusive contract after she'd been in the industry for nearly a decade? Being the only place to see new Teagan scenes for a certain amount of time would bring some traffic to the site. Would it bring in enough to be worth locking her up? I don't know, and neither do you. If you are a fan than a new scene from either women is great and if this translates in better paying gigs for them than they also win. The only thing I moderately care about is the BS that surrounds these announcements. If it is of interest I can share some tibits since they were given publicly. -she has a brazzers contract for a "set number of scenes" and she's shot two so far. -after shooting those scenes she said she'll decide whether to shoot more(and obstensibly with whom) -If I heard her correctly, she is planning to shoot primarily b/g scenes for now. -she is divorced from her husband and said she is single.Although she also described ,what may be characterized,as a 'friends with benefits, dom/sub' relationship with someone. -she will be attending AVN and is signing for AEBN (Though I would imagine that brazzers will try to have her at their booth as well) -I found her to have a fun and engaging persona online, which I'm glad to see hasn't changed from what I remember in the past.
