I just find it interesting to observe though. By signing with Digital Playground, she has lost more fans than she probably knows. But she has potentially just gained a shitload of new ones as well as mainstream possibilities. She couldn't stay the gonzo princess forever. You observe porn long enough, as most of us have, you cease to be surprised by this stuff.

She even went to that "Stars" thing with her and Krystal Steal. These are only two companies we know of that were looking to sign her. I imagine there were alot more. If this was the case, this decision for Teagan must have been purely financial. I think alot of money was thrown at her, and most people (if they're smart) probably wouldn't have turned it down either. Also, D.P. likes to try to "mainstream" their people. I don't consider popping up on a shitty rock bands album cover "mainstream", but hey, it's definitely more exposure and could be very alluring to a young girl. As far as performances, this is really up in the air. Maybe D.P wants to go a little "harder". Hopefully that's the case and Teagan's scenes won't diminish in intensity. That is what I hope, but I don't think this will happen. D.P puts out a generally sanitized product. They are one of the "caffeine free diet cokes" of the industry. I find nothing they do very entertaining, and watching Jesse Jane is like watching grass grow to me. Like I said, this is probably the best move financially and professionally for Teagan, but I fear her "hardcore" fans will quickly drift elsewhere. And now that she's part of an elitist company, lets hope they won't sway her away from posting here. [Link] |
