Yesterday I joined one of the TeamSkeet "premium" sites - Dad Crush - through Idealgasm for $10. I'm a collector and avoid all sites that are streaming-only. When I went to download the first scene, I discovered the site was now charging an additional $25 (that's approximate - I was so pissed I didn't commit the exact figure to memory) for downloads. Like Mindgeek sites, there was zero mention of any additional charge until you've paid to subscribe.
So I contacted support and here's some of the response I got: "First, we would like to apologize for the sudden changes in our membership. Yes, any discounted subscription that is under $15 streams only....Please know that we'd love nothing more than for you to stick around and stay with us. To show you just how much, we're offering an additional two weeks of access, absolutely free! " As a downloader, this does me absolutely no good.
Look - plenty of other companies disclose a stream-only price and a download price. Tell me upfront what the charge is and I'll happily pay a reasonable amount extra for download privileges. Pull this crap and you've probably lost my business forever.
This is sad to see, instead of actually trying to innovate (instead of pretending to) they've gone the route of trying to squeeze their subs for more money, and without warning at that .
