I reckon today I must have spent a good four hours googling, browsing and downloading shit in an attempt to unlock my mobile phone. The funny thing is that once you find what you're looking for you're left with an embarassment of riches: I only wanted to unlock one sodding phone and yet I felt compelled to read the full history of Nokia phone locking techniques and unlockers counter-measures. Anyway, I'm immensely proud of unlocking the phone. Not so much the unlocking in itself but managing to persevere through the information gathering process sidestepping all those ads offering to unlock it for me for a fiver, downloaded unlocking tools that require a knowledge of advanced Bulgarian and the endless links that only prove to be another fucking search engine!
