The reason I say that is they will often have a detailed price list for their customs.

Why go to the trouble of creating such a list and then be afraid to make a custom?

So Ive purchased tons of vids on it. Mostly just searching performers I know and some I run across and just getting content. I first check to see if they have like monthly deal to get content. It started with Sinn Sage where I got her monthly deal which I got a bundle of content. I then did the same with Vanessa Veracruz. Its worth it if you are looking at one performer who has alot of content that you want rather than just getting individual content and paying even more. You can save some money.

As for customs, I did get one custom from manyvids. It was with a trans couple that I liked their work. It was fairly easy to message them back forth, set up the custom process and then even when I forgot to add what I wanted when I filled out the form they were nice enough to listen to more ideas when I messaged them. The downside though is they left out certain things in the custom but it was probably just me being bad at stating specifically everything I wanted detail by detail. They were nice enough since the custom wasnt exactly what I wanted even though it was still good in general, they let me pick any video from their store for free. The custom came exactly on time in a few days which was great. Overall a smooth process on ordering and receiving the custom and super nice couple. Im always hearing horrible custom experiences from manyvids and onlyfans but luckily for me the three times Ive ordered customs it went extremely well.

Now I did have two bad experiences on manyvids. One was I couldnt use my card to make purchases come to find out the site got suspicious that it was fraud so I had to take a picture of my card covering up most important things on it and send it to customer service so they can then clear things up for me to be able to make purchases again because they put a hold on my account. Then the other bad experience was I accidentally joined a live show and I didnt know and the performer wanted me to tip or else she was going to kick me out and I could never join again. I didnt have the funds at the time to tip because again I accidentally join. I dont think she truly understood and maybe thought I was just wasting her time on purpose but I left and I never joined a live period again. I tried to reach out to the performer on there to apologize if I came across as wasting her time and I guess it was a mute point because I hope she understood but she was just saying how she really want to spend her time making money from tips and customs because of how the pandemic was taking a toll on her which I understood. So no harm no foul.

So yeah in general I love manyvids. Its way better personally for me than clips4sale and even modelhub. Other than onlyfans, manyvids is my go to site thats not an actual studio site. I just wish more and more performers either create a manyvids account that way if I cant join their onlyfans Ill still have a way of getting content from them or I wish those performers who are on there be more active because some performers have accounts but its clear they havent updated it with new content in quite some time.

This makes sense to me. Any menu of options is by it's nature limited, and open to miscommunication about what the customer really desires, and what the performer can really do. For example, asking the performer to use toys is an option. Well, OK, what toys is the customer interested in? What toys does the performer have?

Same thing for some of the schedule options. there are options to expedite the production. But obviously those aren't always possible for the performer to fulfill. If you ask for a 24 hour turn around at a time that the performer has a terrible head cold, that's not going to work for anyone. (well, I suppose you could have a head cold fetish...)

As with most things, the more you communicate, and the more respectful you are, the better the chance of a positive outcome.
