I have quite a few in my collection. Tenga produces multiple kinds but all the Tenga "cup" and "egg" models are meant for single use only. I suppose you could use them more than once but they aren't sturdy and aren't designed for that. Tenga does, however, now produce a new toy called the "Flip Hole." It is designed for up to 50 uses they claim. Just keep in mind, however, that unless you are average to below-average in size, the Tenga's are likely going to feel small. They do make a "black line" that are built a little larger but the average ones are made for smaller guys.....no comment on the Asian stereotype intended. I'm just comparing the size of the devices to your average Fleshlight or P&A units. I think most of the Tenga cups (red line) have like 5" canals, although the black label line are slightly longer.
I wrote a review of it in posted it in this thread a week or two ago. The short version: I liked it as a toy, but I don't like the single use design. Unlike LubeNLuv, mine seemed sturdy enough for multiple uses--the issue was hygene and how to clean it properly. There are lots of nooks and crannies and I don't think you can wash and dry it completely well enough to keep nasty stuff from growing in it. Maybe if you treat it with a bleach solution, but I don't know. It's more trouble than it's worth. That's disappointing. I wanted to try the egg (a video I saw looked like fun) but I hate the one-use aspect. Also, LNL: Tenga's making so many different kinds, have you noticed if there's any real difference in the various models, particularly the eggs? The Tenga eggs have different textures but they are more akin to jackoff sleeves that just sort of wrap over the head/glans of your penis and come down the shaft a bit. Since they are pretty small, you could re-use them if you rinsed them out thoroughly. But I doubt they'll last very long as they are made to be disposable 'onacup' type of devices. And of the half dozen or so Tenga onacups I have I can tell they are textured differently when I slide my finger inside of them. I've never used them with my dick as they are just too tiny and I really only bought them for my perverted collection of sex toys. The Flip Hole, however, is designed to be reusable and has a very different kind of texture in it. It is basically two halves that flip together for use and then unflip for cleaning. Pretty radical texture but, again, I find it pretty damn small to use it as a sex toy. But it is definitely different looking. The think with these textures, however, is that while they look different I doubt your cock can really TELL the difference. I find the same is mostly true for the Fleshlight textures...they may look different but don't feel all that different with use.
Thanks. That's kind of what I suspected--I think a lot of it is just a marketing ploy. Plus--I agree, it's amazing how much different these things feel like based on what you're feeling it with. A toy feels a lot different on your fingers than when you're using them. And then lube changes the feel as well. I once had a toy which was smooth inside and I didn't like the lack of texture. The next one I bought had a lot of texture: it was impossible to penetrate w/o lube, and you just glided over the top with lube, so there wasn't any real difference (this was an old-style plastic toy, and very stiff). A big shame about the eggs. It may not be much, but the video I saw looked like fun. But I don't like paying $10 each for a one-use product. Too many different things demanding my money to pay $10 a jerk. Have you tried the flip-hole? To me it looks like a Fleshlight that's easier to clean (not like FLs are that difficult). And quickly back to the top of the page, about the size of Tenga stuff: they make two sizes. Since I'm average size, I went with the smaller one. It was tough going but doable, and I think it was engineered to feel that way regardless. If you're larger than average, get the bigger one. But with any--they're made of super-stretchy material, and the Tenga I bought had stiff sponge-like things at the base which had all the lube, and provided resistance. I think all the Tengas are going to feel snug, unless you're a true needle-dick. But I doubt anyone (other than porn stars) would not fit into the larger one. The real limiting factor would be the physical diameter of the base. But if you're seriously worried about the size, as LNL says, you'd be better off with a Fleshlight or other larger toy. Or something homemade.
Someone over on the Fleshlight forums was razzing me for not giving the Flip Hole a whirl so I bought one. It's a unique design but seriously....too small. I'm bigger than average but not porn-star huge...8.5" and about 6" in girth. The Flip Hole just won't really accommodate me. The entry hole itself is quite small and although I can penetrate it I can't get inside. The damn thing just about cracks in two and reminds me of using one of those really cheap pocket pussys. I tried one of my wifes anal dildo's and it's only about 4.5" girth and even it pretty much has to be hammered inside the thing. Man I'm glad I peeked into this forum. My wife wanted to get me the Flip Hole but I was concerned it would be too small... I'm the same size as you and I've had similar horrible experiences.
