On the Adam Carolla Show on Thursday morning, Tera Patrick and Evan Sienfeld came on to talk about Teradise Island .
There were some inconsistencies I noticed in the interview:
Tera said that she is the only woman to have ever posed for both Playboy and Penthouse. I'm not sure about this, but it seems like there would be at least a few others that have done both.
She mentioned Teradise Island has been #1 on "the charts" for the past three weeks. Exactly what charts was she talking about?
Evan said that TeraVision was a $30 million dollar company. I find this quote a little fishy. Playboy reportedly paid under $20 million for Club Jenna and its assets. Now TeraVision doesn't have nearly the amount of revenue from websites, merchandise, or film production that CJ has. Aside from Tera, only Taylor is under contract to them (they really fucked up on their part for letting go of Nikki Benz), while CJ has a good supply of bankable contract players. Most people here even joke about TeraVision being "a poor man's Club Jenna". I just find it very hard to believe that TeraVision is worth that much.

It's certainly not true that she is the only woman to have posed for both Playboy and Penthouse. Victoria Zdrok, Linn Thomas and another girl from the late '90's not only have posed for both but were featured as both Playmate of the month and Pet of the month. Teri Weigel has also posed for both as has Sandy Korn. Those are just the ones off the top of my head. There are probably some others.

I had heard that Tera's movies with her husband were doing so bad and I can personally testify to that, was going to work with other guys. Tera has the best boob job I have ever seen. Her surgeon should get the Nobel Prize for medicine. Jenna Jameson told some stories about Jenny McCarthy on Stern but Jenny came on and told her side. I believe Jenny. Porno stars thing that if the fans will swallow the squirting thing and other stuff we will believe anything,not. If Jenna's company was only worth $20 million then Jenna's claim on Stern that she was working on getting a Jet, were as full of lies as her story about Jenny. Just the facts maam. The article also said, 'It was also mentioned that she had just done her first anal scene in Teradise Island.' This is not true. She did anal with Anthony Crane in Caribbean Undercover.

On a related theme of porn stars who embellish, Ed Powers on his FM talk radio show a few years back tried to get away with saying he had sex with over 6000 women. When listeners began to call him on his BS, he tried to defend it. Any way you attempt the math, it just doesn't add up in his favor - if he put out 300+ tapes where he has sex with three+ women on each tape - that's 1000 women. That's a lot of time and work involved in the office getting those 1000 women to have sex with him on video. This is over how many years - 6 to 10 years? That leaves 5000 women to be accounted for. OK, so include the 15 years of his adult life before he got into porn - anyone want to argue that Ed Powers had 5000 willing sex partners during that period of time? 1200 lifetime total (on camera and off) is stretching it to me! It was just so insulting on many levels to hear someone claim, then try and defend that legacy. I could see someone like him using that number as a joke in some radio shtick, but he wasn't joking. There was no funny payoff. Just more insulted listeners who stopped listening.
I apologize if this is an old thread topic. I searched, but didn't find anything.
Disclaimer: I am in no way saying that Tera or Evan are liars, or putting what they are reported to have said on the same level with what I heard Ed Powers say.

I really doubt it's from Private. You're talking about a company that's only in the biz no more than 3 years without a title that's dominated the markets. I can't think of one title from Teravision like that. If you want to say you're one of the top-selling companies in the industry, you better back it up with some best-sellers of all-time.
