Honestly, I didn't either until I rented Tera Patrick..AKA Filthy Whore 1. There, I really found her to be gorgeous and like a light bulb over my head I finally got it. That said, in no scene I've seen since did she really go off the charts performance wise. I remember Den mentioning in one of her reviews that Tera had said herself that she considered herself a lousy lay. So, the actual sex in her stuff wasn't all that great plus those Digital Playground films were just way too pretentious for their own good. She's a girl who achieved her fame because of her looks not because of the quality of her films or individual work.

Then again, look at my freakin' name. Before the surgery, neck-down Tera very closely resembled Taylor so I'm biased. It's a shame that she got implants. Her breasts were fucking amazing.

That being said, I still find her one of the most attractive women in porn in a long time. While I can see Jenna 's popularity and do find her beautiful, Tera is more "my type." Regarding her performances, sexually: things have definitely calmed down and are much more vanilla now that she is only working with Evan . However, her earlier scenes do show some real fire.

I recently picked up the two Up n Cummers videos that Tera is in, along with both volumes of "aka Filthy Whore." If you're a facial fan, I can't particularly recomend the latter two discs, as there's only one facial between them, as I recall.

But Tera really smokes in bith Up n Cummers vids, even if its with Randy West. Tera's early stuff was good, but later, she did become just too "polished" or "fake". Most of us here like porn for the good, hard fucking. And we like girls that really love the sex. Tera, while it may or may not be true, just comes across like a performer that's going through the motions.

It's the same difference as the early Jenna and the recent Jenna. Their appearance become too "produced" and don't seem genuine enough.

I always thought Tera was attractive but would never consider her a favourite. Then I watched her in a web cam show with Carmen Luvana. Tera came across so sensual yet intelligent and articulate that I'm now a fan. If that illusion is real I'd say not all of her beauty is superficial.
