Hmmmmm... Now it's back. Curiouser and curiouser. First the sig that never worked suddenly shows up... Then the edit goes... Then it's back. Weirder that the ressurection of Sophia Lynn.

I made some changes to the forum code today related to the editing functions. (I also fixed a bug related to signatures not working since it was right there in the same chunk of code I was staring at.)

Were you not able to edit the first post in a thread but were able to edit a reply?

The first three times I could edit (and those were to delete the sig I'd forgotten I placed on my profile.) Then, suddenly, I couldn't. That went on through a few test posts in forums I generally don't use (sorry for littering up the board) until I started this thread. Then after maybe a combined total of 5 or 6 tries, it started working again.

The icon for edits shouldn't be there for posts older than 14 days. I assume the posts were more recent than that ( like tonight)?
