I have just bought a new computer, with WIndows XP installed. My problem is that in virtually all of my applications, the text is too small for me to read easily. I can't seem to find a setting or default adjustment that would make the text MUCH LARGER, or a window resizing adjustment that would display less total page, resulting in the remaining text being MUCH LARGER. In Internet Explorer, I set the Text Size setting in the View drop down menu to the maximum setting, but that only provided marginal improvement, and didn't change anything on some webpages. Many webpages (that I had no problem with before), remain microscopic. And that still doesn't help me in my non-intenet applications. I can't even read my Quicken registers, they are so small. This was not an issue with my old rig, running Windows 98. I'm sure it's something simple that I'm not seeing. Please HELP! BSD  [Link] |

Senior Member 1679 Posts 2/01 | Posted - Aug 9 2004 : 3:28PM You can change the amount of screen that the image takes up on your monitor which can directly affect the size of the text on web pages etc. You can do all kinds of things like stretch and shrink the amount of screen the image takes up. I'm not saying it'll solve your problem, but it's worth a shot.  [Link] |
